    Imma be a b#tch and say that this power up was more than possible long ago. All he had to do was go to the outskirts, give people some money and very lightly beat them up. He could have very well done this in the few months he spent in the real world.
    Not to mention that he should have experimented whether defeating opponents in games or bets would have worked or not.

      i dont think the armor would count that as a win. if the gap in power is too big or if they just stand there and does it it probably wont count. and also doing that a thousand times seems inefiecent

        Yup I completely agree. The armor would not have changed anything.
        The problem is that I think many of his power ups could be achieved much much earlier. And that at all times he has better (yet still reasonable) ways to grow. For example this armor.

      Hey, we don’t want Sunny to die.
      Maybe after Saint finishes her evolution, Sunny forms another core, gets a good armor memory and gets another Shadow Echo.
      And even then he would need much prep time as he has gotten killed by a single hit.
      And he has no way to come back to life anymore.
      Unless he somehow managed to memorize the [The Undying] Weave.
