      I dont think you know what selfish means.
      Selfish would be abandoning everyone to save himself or his vehicle.

      I mean, the whole point of this expedition was to save people.
      Saying it endangers the mission is an excuse to be selfish.
      Its a question of morality as you dont know what these people could contribute in the future.
