      Even Hundreds elite of the elite Ancient battle master, Awakened and Ascended, an Ancient sect, who trained immortal bitch who got scheme by noctis into a host of wormvine, were killed by 3 Awakened... lol. Sometime author will say how much mc face pressure, hard to breathe or shaken, just by staying near random Awakened or master... muchless Saint. And another time mc and his cohort will killed hundreds of them... just look Human Saint is having a hard time facing Corrupted nightmare creatures 1 vs 1, so someone have to distracted the minions. But look mc and his cohort can face 1 vs 1 with Corrupted nightmare when they are still in Ascended... but facing human Saint they will face pressure...

        Its like you dont even read the book...... Sky Tide was fighting a Corrupted TYRANT, not a corrupted demon and lower. Cores have a qualitative jump from devil, as stated MULTIPLE times, devils gaining unique powers, Tyrants getting minions, with terrors building on that. We dont know what titans get, but thats why Sunny can handle a corrupted demon, and why Sky Tide could go toe to toe with a tyrant

        To be fair, all of the saints in the nightmare was killed by noctis, with the shore exception of night lady being killed by mordret. And also yeah they killed like hundreds of awakened and ascended it didn't make somewhat make sense to me too.
        Also the expression sunny's feels is just authors way of trying to make us feel that the character is strong as such, but yeah using sunny to achieve that outcome can feel werid when he will probably be able to kill them easily. Using someone else's pov might be better but then that would also break the immersion.

        I really like cuttlefish achieves that by using the atmospheres instead in lotm. But not everyone can pull it off its a very hard task.

        And yeah the power system is a bit lacking and has some holes in it.
        But the story is enjoyable so I do not mind that much. We can only trust the author to address the issues in the future and fix them

      To be fair, the masters there were beaten barely, and only using many memories in a certain way. Mordret is easy cause he can possess anyone, easily killing them, since almost nobody has soul security guards like sunny

      Then 4 Ancient Ascended battle master... must be Nubs. They got killed by 3 very experience Awakened, one is in kid body, one that can only fly and last one is in huge demon body, who almost turn into blood mist by punch of kid body. oru2x

    I'm a bit against about him using the Sin of Solace, like, he's not mentally stable to begin with so why he gonna use that. The side effect is just too ominous, he should stick with Cruel Sight with that toxic attribute.
