    By the way guys the difference between each rank is exponential, meaning the difference between corrupted and fallen is a lot larger than the difference between awakened and fallen, and the different between great and corrupted is a lot larger than the difference between corrupted and fallen

      There is a soundtrack for the novel... Go check for Griffin Tyler it's really good and embrace perfectly the ambiance of the novel... Personnaly i listen some cyberpunk one and wharhammer 40k/medieval epic sound track when battles come.

    I already posted this before, but since y’all are a bit confused, here is the main stuff of the power system.

    ❖ Soul Class ❖
    This counts the number of Soul Cores a specific entity has. They are as follows:
    Beast, Monster, Demon, Devil, Tyrant, Terror, and Titan.

    ◈ Soul Rank ◈
    This counts the quality of Soul Cores a specific entity has. Nightmare Creatures go towards profanity, while humans go towards divinity.
    They are as follows:

    Creatures - Humans

    Dormant

    Awakened

    Fallen - Ascended

    Corrupted - Transcended

    Great - Supreme

    Cursed - Sacred

    Unholy - Divine


    In addition, humans of specific Soul Rank are given titles, being:
    Sleeper, Awakened, Master, Saint, Sovereign, and the rest are yet to bloom and hence unknown.

    Also, just for fun, the formula to calculate Shadow Fragments from a kill is:
    (2^(Victim’s Soul Rank - Killer’s Soul Rank) × Victim’s Soul Class)
    In other words, the highest amount possible is (2^(7 - 1) × 7) from a Dormant Sunny killing an Unholy Titan, granting a whopping 448 Shadow Fragments!

    So İf Im right quantity of the cores is dormant, devil, titan etc. Quality is fallen corropted for nightmare creatures, ascended etc. for humans

    So what is gathered is that every rank is a huge power jump, and that cores are just additive to they get to the devil rank and above, where they gain a qualitative power jump.
