    Spoiler question:
    Will there be shadow creatures in this Arc or in the next few arcs?

    Because without them Sunny can forget about getting stronger than Nephis.
    I mean, his shadow core gives him cool abilities similar to Mordet and Nephis.
    These abilities give him a head start compared to others, but fall behind compared to Mordet and Nephis thanks to all the support and training they got.
    And the stronger he gets, the more at disadvantage he will be.
    If I was Sunny, I would have tried to max out my soul cores before Ascending.
    I mean, unlike others he can't absorb part of others soul essence unless they are shadow creatures.
    And the more cores he has the easier it gets to fill them up
