    No matter what other guys say i feel the issues between sunless and nephis has persisted long enough one hand they claim to know each other best in two worlds on other hand they keep on hurting each other because of what social awkwardness or that they can't communicate please author if you want give excuses that they are kid in terms of recognising feelings stop of you want excuse there will be countless

    People seems to think that's how all humans are that's how a decent human behaves that you can't just cut yourself but sorry I think it's time to decide be together or never see each other again not as romantic intrest sunny had enough time reorganise his feelings now he knows that he can't live without neph there is no reason to be stubborn and push himself away you can find a way to break shadow bond together if it's even needed when she won't command you

    Author thinks he is doing a good job with romance other readers seems to think the same maybe I am the off one here but author separating them again and again by fighting and then keeping on mentioning her in his thoughts and then go to meet her is annoying me you can be together and still walk your on paths or you can leave each other alone and interact as much as cassie and sunny do
    This is not a healthy relationship clear up i am not against romance itself but one hand they claim to know other the best on other they keep on misunderstanding each other and then the intrusion of each other life and sunny complicated feelings fking gives me headache

    I see alot of people saying he needs to get rid of the slave thing but why. Thats gonna happen he got upgraded from slave already and prob after a nightmare he'll be free. But that slave connection gave both of them strengths or motivation at times. Not to mention that they can combine their aspect buffs for insane benefits. Neph is a good ally and for now that connection is more valuable than wasting time looking for ways out of it.

      A lot of people thinks it’s that simple, that you can just cut it off and be happy with it. But it’s really not like that, at least for any decent human beings. Cutting it off would mean he either has to kill Nephis or find some other way. Some might say that he should kill Nephis. Those people are retarded, the consequences of that and how it will affect Sunny’s mindset will be very bad. And finding some other way doesn’t mean it’ll be better, if we ignore that fact of how it’s almost impossible to find an alternative, the consequences of choosing that path might be much heavier than what they expected.

        Not really you know their fate will bring them back together again and again but the nature of relationship is decided by them
        Do they want be friends comrades or couple or even retainer and lord a master or slave
        It's their complicated relationship that eating mind of viewers they risk their lives almost every day of they speak their mind with each other wt least well have simple life
        And cutting off here means not interacting I am not sure how old you are but every student at least most of them gets separated from their friends after passing out because world is big and paths are different many factors aren't even in your control
        At least I want them to become simple i liked their few weeks of living together realation but now they are fking back to the murky waters again I am not a decent person by your book because I'll be decisive either be with me or be without me there is no in between

          That’s the problem here, they’re so unstable mentally because they never had proper childhood and are going through puberty rn. Plus, their relationship rn is so complicated. You can’t expect them to fix their problems when they haven’t spent that much time together. I also want for their relationship to be clear but that’s clearly impossible rn, especially with shadow bond. It’ll definitely take a lot of time for them to reach proper conclusion. Plus they aren’t classmates that they will just perfectly fine cutting their relationship that easily, they care for each other too much for that but there’s also so much in between them.

            I guess you are right that they are young but they are also more mature than most people with every time they fight their understanding is so highlighted that i can't help but think why the hell they misunderstand each other so much then on one point they understand each other best in two worlds on other they are always spreating after short time peace and then fight
            belive me i would be so happy if they decided to find solutions to their problems together whether it's shadow bond or great clans what gives sunny the idea she thinks he isn't her equal she literally trusts only him and cassie in the world and unless she is lesbian sunny should understand the implications that he has a chance and nephis is no better can't you talk properly don't they both understand their desires and hesitations right now their relationship isn't healthy in my perspective I like the story but some times author writing style in somethings is just
            Like shadows is his part of power so i don't think he is any less than nephis at any point after forgotten shore

              I get that but we’re talking about two teenagers, with f#cked up childhood. One has to watch her whole clan slowly come to ruin while having to always deal with assassination attempts. Literally everyone the she knew was gone before she even got infected by nightmare spell.

              While the other one basically grew up with nothing, her mother died young and her sister was adopted. He has to live alone while death and hunger is just one step away. He has no one that he can trust because everyone wants to take advantage of him because that’s the only way to survive in the environment the he grew up with. All this happened to them before their age even reached double digits.

        Even if fate brings them together again he can treat her like a freind or acquaintance, a fellow fighter or just some kind of unavoidable plague
        Nature of their relationship is decided by him and her and he can use some work on his side
        No matter the reasons I want some peace between their relationships romance in as reading already is tough enough to read with him running away just to come back and wag his tail and with her not explaining herself clearly
        And with then author keeps on mentioning they know each other best in 2 worlds it's a bit hard to read if it wasn't such refined good novel with world building power system and lores and myth with these chracters i might not have read further my favourite sunny is still from first nightmare and there is this spoiler thing with effie and something i heard further than that which killed some motivation for me I'll probably complete it someday somehow
