    Realizing now that I most enjoy the novel when Sunny is away from his friends. I don’t have anything against them tbh (I really like Kai and Effie) but the whole dynamic is messed up.

    It’s kinda crazy that Sunny went through what he did for his whole life and then the nightmare and his reward was to be a ✨divine✨ slave.

    And then his 2 closest friends, his first friends ffs, decide that yeah he should be a slave so they can achieve their goals.

    Effie preaching to him about “conviction” was probably the last straw to me. He’s a slave!

    Anyway I’m just gonna be less demanding of him. Cause if I were in his shoes I would NOT enjoy hanging out with his friends

      I actually like the ones with sunny alone too. Constant travels with them would prolly get old eventually.
      But hes a slave in name only. Only having power over him used once. It was prolly for the best. I was sick of the shore/dream realm by then and better neph then modret.
      Majority of the time, he just does what he wants anyway.
