He dreamt of ice and darkness.

This and some other thing with dreams that happened in past and will happen in the future makes me wonder. Did [Fated] augmented by Weaver's Lineage give Sunny a weak ability to see Fate through dreams? Like Cassie's? Obviously it isn't on that scale and works very rarelly but when it works its pretty accurate, not to mention the dream he saw in vol 7.

Maybe but dreams arent always prophetic. Usually theyre a mirror of the subconscious. Darkness and ice could refer to how he feels about Antarctica. Cold and dark.

g3 always writes about how harrowing and bleak the outskirts are, but he never really shows it. The only time we witnessed the outskirts was that brief visit with Sunny and Nephis. It all feels wasted.

I wouldnt say all of India but a large part, yes. Look at how they treat the so called holy river gangez. Large parts are absolutely filled with trash. Why would their cities be any better?
Ive been to poor east europe countries and even they treat their rivers better. And they aint even holy. India aint that poor.
Its not an unfair generalisation to say india has a pollution and trash problem. Its in the top 5 worst. You can look this shit up, its widely reported. The best you can say is that its a little better than Pakistan.

the start of this arc was probably the most exciting but at the same time solemn part of the whole novel, the thought of earth being so desolate and inhospitable is distressing to say the least
