      You are right because sunny was always alone so he had rely on cunning to survive but after meeting neph he doesn't need to depend on himself and with neph charging headfast at everything for her own goals without caring about its consequences on others he is relying on her subconsciously since he thinks she powerful and can do anything but you must have seen his behaviour in chps 96-122 was similar to his behaviour before meeting her
