    Is it me or his character development is going downhill like, I still remember when he killed his first human, he felt nothing and now just seeing a wounded nephis makes him cry, will his character change much in the future

      Well before he would have not saved Cassie but now he did even in the novel it said something changed I think that's where the author wants to take his character development so there is development for sure its just the author choose not take his character towards cold heartless mc that you might like but again if you were unhappy with authors writing you would have dropped it long ago couse there were some chapters where it felt like now he is dragging it but yeah it's my first time reading this or any novel for all that matters but I think I trust the author

          You can't say that his character is shit. Like what do you expect from someone who lived in th outskirts, barely get to eat 2 or 3 meals a day, with no family, her little sister far away who he haven't seen for years. At starting his only goal was to survive but now he is changing, doing something because he wants to, not because he had to.
