    still confused by the classification
    suppose there is a dormant titan could it beat awakened beast creature or is it only the strongest within the dormant rank and can't beat awakened rank creature even if they are the lowest class

      dormant titans dont exist, and if they did it would absolutely dog not only an awakened beast but also multiple of the foggy things we saw earlier i can tell you that much without spoiling anything

      What matters most are the ranks, Like Dormant, Awakened, Ascended(Fallen)...Sacred(Cursed), Divine(Unholy).
      And every nightmare creatures have one or multiple soul cores while humans only have one except the divine aspect holders .
      So what this soul cores do is further enhance the capabilities and intelligence of that beast. So more soul cores means higher class, which goes Beast, Monster, Demon....Terror, Titan.
      That's why an Awakened Beast is weaker than an Awakened Monster, which is even more weaker than an Awakened Demon and so on.
      But as classes advance(more soul cores), they can somewhat negate the direct powers and capabilities of ranks. Like an Awakened Terror would be much much more powerful than a Fallen Devil or even a Corrupted Beast.
      Following the same logic, we can compare polar extremes of both ranks and classes, a Dormant Titan and an Unholy Beast. There is an absolute difference between the classes of both creatures here. But know that the difference between a Dormant and an Unholy creature is much much much much much more than the difference between a Beast and a Titan, since ranks matter more. And hence an Unholy Beast is infinitely more powerful than a Dormant Titan, such that the Dormant Titan wouldn't even match upto an Awakened monster. An unholy being is more than a literal god, it's class being beast doesn't even matter as just the rank is enough. And in case of a Dormant Titan, it can be summed up as 0 X infinity, it yields 0.
      So yeah, what matters most are ranks. And Classes mostly signify the enhancement of the ranked ability and intelligence of the creature.
