      its pretty easy to deduce the the tree sacrifices a life to create a fruit, thats why the carapace demon was giving it a soul share, so it can create a fruit of corresponding value

    Soo the moment of relief the Carapace Demon was not because he finally dead and be cursed anymore, but because of his freedom from the Soul Tree.
