    Jake had used free points on something that wasn’t perception.

    I know another mc from a different story called Hell Difficulty Tutorial, and even though he specializes in a completely different stat, he would only look at Jake with disappointment for even considering and doing what he just did. I highly recommend it, by the way. The MC is definitely in my top 2, or maybe even top 1, of the best mcs I’ve ever read in a story.

    i hate how slow the leveling is. he fights 3 groups of monkeys, getting extra experience from them being higher level and from his mark and he only gets 1 level.

    at the same time, i mostly like the pacing (wish it was a little faster), and if the leveling was faster, then the author would either have to speed up the pacing too much or make fights less common. i don't want either of those, so i guess slow leveling is the best for now
