      Forgotten tea remains only partially drunk at best unless you drink it cold. (Which I sometimes do if there is still a trace of heat in it. Can't help it - cold tea was all I could drink when my kids were small. I have noticed that this is a standard measure of time though in many Eastern/Chinese novels. Which confuses me because my mum drinks tea in a few minutes but I take a very variable amount of time.
