HP: A Magical Journey by FictionOnlyReader

Could someone recommend a Harry Potter fanfic where the main character quickly becomes stronger than Dumbledore and Voldemort?

With little focus on the original plot; I don't want to see Harry Potter repeating canonical events. Even better if Harry doesn't exist.

I want to see the main character becoming the strongest wizard, or even starting out as the strongest, exploring the magic and mysteries of the wizarding world.

It was a fantastic journey. But in last 50 in ending arc meaning after chapter 380 it was hard for me read but even, so I complete it.

Leaving the ending arc for most of the story it was so great that I will recommend reading. It is my third best fanfic after Super Detective in the
Fictional World and Harry Potter: Dimensional Wizard.

One of the best HP FanFic out there, no doubts.... The journey is exciting full of ups and downs, lot of interesting unexpected plot twists and drama..... My only complaint is the abrupt ending without the epilogue..... But nevertheless it's a worthy read! 8.5/10....

It's a good novel and pretty well written, with some grammatical errors and words that are missing or incorrect. After finishing the novel I'd give it a 7/10. Pretty decent, but the ending was not what we were lead to expect. The whole novel consists of the MC talking about how he's going to explore the world and do all of these great things when he graduates from Hogwarts, only for the story to end shortly after he graduates. It felt like the author wanted to move on to another project instead of continuing this one. He could have written another 500 chapters if he had continued to write about MC's life after finishing Hogwarts.

If you're looking for action, then this novel isn't for you. I read to chapter 97, nearly a 1/4 of the entire novel, and there's only been one instance where the MC actually had a battle with someone. The novel is mostly just the MC researching, hiding, keeping a low profile, and doing side hustles. It gets boring after a while, unless you enjoy simply reading about the MC learning, researching, and hiding his skills all of the time.

*EDIT* Some action finally appeared by ch 132. It's still not a an action-packed novel though. Even after this short episode, the novel goes back to the MC researching, learning, doing side hustles, and trying to remain mysterious and hidden. So the novel still gets dull and boring.

**EDIT** The action starts to ramp up by the mid 300's and becomes consistent by the 400's, so you basically have to read 3/4 of the novel before the MC really starts to get involved in battles.

The characters are well fleshed out and interactions don't feel forced in most cases.

MC never feels too unrealistic without reason.

it´s good for a fanfic, it had so much potential, but the author did dirty the novel with , and it would have been good that the history continued after ,

anyway for something it has 4 star in rating, but its not a masterpiece, it´s good for a casual read
