        I heard the MC is a real dick though, really manipulative and arrogant (based on some reviews I read) despite being really weak. Would you still recommend the novel though?

          Yeah, the MC is completely self-centered and lacks compassion for other people, he just does his own thing. But unlike most novels with an MC like this, the rest of the characters is well fleshed out, and they interact frequently.

          I'd still recommend, at least give it a try and see if it's your thing.

          I actually haven't touched it ever since I caught up, and now there should be a large number of chapters for me to binge. Thanks for the reminder.
