This is simply a hidden gem. I am surprised I did not find it before. After reading so many trash wuxias, this is really refreshing. However, there will be some emptiness and bitter aftertaste for quite a time after reading this book. Overall 4.5/5 for me. Definitely recommend

I stoped on book 5 couse happen too many shit, i cant take it, its uncomfortable, or something like that.

Dark, gritty, realistic characters. Doesn't really have a happy ending.

Actuellement au volume 3, et le seul défaut a noter est l'incohérence de l'auteur sur le mc. Celui-ci est décrit comme sans pitié envers ses ennemis, que vu qu'il a grandi dans le désert il n'est pas le type a accueillir la misère du monde, et au final il fait a chaque fois l'inverse de sa description. Donc au lieu d'avoir le mc parfait pour le roman tu te retrouves avec un mc qui est limité un mc de roman de cultivation. A part le mc tout le reste est soit correct soit excellent, je remettrai un commentaire plus organisé soit au livre 5 soit directement après avoir fini le roman

If the book want too dark , i would have just read it till the end. But still , the author did a great job.

The rating now is a 3 with 6 ratings. That's too low. It might not be everyone's cup of tea but the writing itself is much better than most Chinese light novels.
