Neo transmigrated into world of a novel and became a side character.

Here, strength and status were determined by one's god parent and their bloodline.

Neo despaired, knowing a side character like him would have a weak bloodline until....

[Your bloodline has been awakened successfully]

[Bloodline: Monarch of Death]

He gained the bloodline of the strongest god: Hades, the God of Death who ruled over Underworld and Afterlife!

His bloodline gave him the power to control Death itself!

There was just one 'tiny' problem that Neo had yet to realize. Collapse

Beautiful novel. First off let me clear this off. This novel started out very bad. I was initially reading as junk food material to pass time. Incoherent plot, 2d side characters.. the likes.

But going further and travelling with the author I got really invested in the book as it keeps on getting better and better, the plot becomes more coherent, the world building is building up to something amazing. The MC gets more development and even the SCs to an extent.

I feel like I went on a journey of development with the author, and I didn't realize it till later chapters. It's beautiful really, how the author and this book grew from what it was to what it is now. I think you should give it a read, trudge through the first few chaps and you might just find a gem here guys.

Disclaimer: it isn't the best out there and prolly doesn't deserve the rating it was given. Still, I think it's a good book.

I wanted to copy and try to send this comment to the entire site because I can’t read A SINGLE NOVEL without seeing people in the comments criticizing and saying how bad the novel is or how the author is trash… I’m just tired. I’ve been visiting this site for years, and every time something new comes out, it’s just criticism. It discourages me from reading because people comment on things that make me disgusted with the protagonist or a certain situation that happened, and it ruins the experience.

Just read at your own discretion man, some might love it while others hate it. It's all about what sort of novels you prefer, tbh there is no ideal novel, they all have their good and bad parts, it's just whether you want to read them because you find it interesting or not. You should poison test it for yourself, and if you like it then just continue reading it but if you don't then just stop reading it... I can assure you that a lot of times it is those that criticise that does not like the novel while those who like it keep silent unless it's like everyone likes it. Don't let others stop you from the joy of reading

I'm no genius in life, but if you don't like criticism just don't read the comments. They can't bother you that way and you don't have to whine about it!

When I feel negative, I don't bother and find out whether it is shit on my own. If I am in a positive mood, I will read the comments, find those that agreed with my views on other novels and give it a try if they are even vaguely average.

As I have said before though, I read any old trash, so it's not uncommon for me to give new novels a peak at least.

PS: I don't even bother with the novel rating, that's just a shit tier indicator, decide by what people say not some score.

These internet trolls don’t even know how to evaluate properly. They just read the first 50 chapters and already think they have the authority to say if it’s bad or not. And these pieces of shit, in every novel, only know how to criticize as if they could do better. But I’m sure they just sit at home jerking off and commenting on this bullshit, thinking their dad is going to come back home. These abandoned losers, their parents probably left them because they’re just trash who only post useless comments.

What’s so hard about saying something nice to the author or encouraging people to read? But no, they call themselves "poison testers," yet not a single one of them says anything good about the story. They just read 50 chapters and already think they have the moral high ground to criticize, without even finishing the story. And when they do give their opinion, it’s just bullshit.

All I see is people talking bad about novels; no one says anything good. These damn trolls…

There are people who actually make good critiques and put effort into it because they like the story, but it reaches a point where they feel the need to comment on when it started going downhill. However, there are others who speak just to ruin other people's experience for their own pleasure. I feel disgusted by these people...

Sorry for these words, but I’m tired. I can’t even start reading a novel without seeing shitty comments about how bad it is. It discourages me from reading anything on this site. I’m tired of coming here and only seeing criticism. Dude, you’re already reading for free on this site, and you still want to talk shit like you’re someone important? If you were that important, you’d be paying to read, but instead, you’re here, enjoying free content. You can’t even be grateful to the people who upload paid content for free, and yet you still complain about the site for hosting Webnovel novels?

Man, seriously, go f#ck yourself, you ungrateful piece of shit. These ungrateful idiots should be kicked out…

You're right I've committed this mistake so I will attempt to share my thoughts, be warned I've never reviewed and don't review for a reason, so it may be a tough read lol. My experience with this novel was a mixed bag tbh. In the earlier stages of the novel I disliked it because the story would change without any prior notice. The author would jump from plots, new rules would appear and random characters would come into existence, all without establishment or reason. The characters felt one dimensional and bland all placed to fulfill a plot goal, making decisions without rhyme or reason just to push the plot further. Midway through book 1 this starts to change to a degree. characters begin to be fleshed out, showing individualistic features and gaining their own 'personality' though when grouped some characters would still blend together unable to be distinguished. Though this improved character background we see some stability to the developed plot bonding information together into a cohesive plot. Little bits and pieces of lore come together to create a pretty interesting world, though new concepts are still randomly introduced with very little having been hinted at prior. Besides the ending arc of book 1 detailing the
(still having it's own issues) the plot is wildly inconsistent with events appearing out of thin air catching the main character and readers alike off guard. Considering the main characters characteristic of being a 'novel transmigrator' this should not be the case. This novel has a rocky start for sure but I can see the authors progress throughout the book. I am hopeful for the novels future but as it stands 60% of the novel is slop, interesting slop but slop all the same. if you want to sift through there are good moments to be found though it will be a challenge.

yes and no. yes, because i guess the site either has trolls or brainrots. often the ratings for novels are lower than other sites. the reviews are most likely misleading. it feels like people read every 10th word, or their rating, no matter how correct and logical, has nothing to do with the book. i think it's done to farm likes. they either don't read the book at all, or they read the first chapter, find some element, make up some story based on it and criticize it. at least it sounds more plausible than "the person read it and actually made these conclusions". they criticize things in their reviews that most readers don't like, and the book doesn't have them. for example, in "Dimensional Hotel" the reader criticizes the author's previous book for collecting a harem. i read it almost completely, and there was not even a hint of romance. the hero's team included two children, the hero's daughter and son, an old scientist, a dog and a doll. needless to say, if this book featured not even a harem, but a romance, the author would be immediately sent to the madhouse. my opinion is that people just write random negative reviews, others like them without reading, in gratitude for the warning. those who actually read the book don't look back at the page for a refutation. so yeah, trusting even medium-length reviews is risky. it's problematic and i agree with that.
regarding "you've created a toxic community in the comments area and are ruining my experience of reading books." dude, first of all, you're a part of that community. your pasta is more toxic ragebait than their whining. "you took a shit in the comments, so I'll take a shit on you" is nice, of course, but it will only make the comments dirtier. somewhat hypocritical. an approach to improving the situation would be to write quality book reviews.
secondly, the internet has always been a place where people unload their emotions in an unmoderated stream of messages. good or bad - it doesn't matter. what matters is that this is the norm, and you are violating the status quo, which can only be met with resistance, because that's how people are made. such an approach will not lead to any positive changes, but will only feed the vicious cycle of toxicity. you basically threw shit on the fan.
thirdly, what is this dubious take about 50 chapters? 50 chapters is a few hours that i could spend on things that bring me more joy. if i read entertainment literature, and get less entertainment than, say, from watching youtube or tiktok, then this entertainment literature is not competitive. 50 boring chapters is a death sentence. and people who read 50 chapters have every right to criticize these 50 chapters. why should anyone even finish reading a story they don't like before giving up and review it? this is just masochism. the concept of "moral right" was invented by incompetents to shut up those who say their work is shit. a person does not need a "moral right" to criticize public things and products. for that matter, you yourself have no moral right to criticize commentators, because you yourself have not made any positive impact for the betterment of the community, and have not written a single useful positive review. moreover, what's wrong with the fact that the commentators haven't written or done anything themselves? since when can only a writer be a qualified reader? yes, you could say they don't respect the author's work, but they are more than qualified readers, because all it takes is reading and enjoying reading. the more a person has read, the more qualified they are to review. why should people say anything good about the author? it's not like he's even on the site. why should people beat others to reading? it's entirely the reader's responsibility, and if he needs help with that, then something is wrong. the profession of "poison tester" is quite honorable, because, it can't be denied, from time to time the site uploads complete crap that hurts the eyes.
so yes, my main complaint is the false reviews, the rest is questionable. i haven't treated the commentary field as a source of relevant information about a book at all. on this site people just have fun and do stupid things, turning the comments area into a complete mess, including negativity, fake reviews and whining... but this is our mess. yes, it is impossible to find anything useful about the book in it, and some reviews make you wonder if a single-celled organism wrote it. but this is normal, this is the state of the community. yes, there could be useful reviews and kind support here, but we have what we have. nowhere does it say that the community should be exactly like this. if it upsets you so much - do not read the comments, no one is forcing you. there is nothing useful to catch here before reading anyway. come later and write a good review, and I will like it if I see it. and your manifesto will not change anything for the better

Honestly, just this alone made me think this novel would turn out horribly because mc definitely gonna get supreme bloodline unless it's like a vampire novel or smth and then it just becomes boring later on

I am just pointing out how obvious for these kinds of bloodline novels will always give MC the strongest bloodline if not a vampire novel/steal/copy other bloodlines and this sort of bloodline novel is usually the type that quickly loses steam and gets boring. Luckily, this novel at least uses the elemental conception system which makes it much better, otherwise it would've been much much worse.

Honestly, sometimes it's really boring and monotonous to see something where the MC has a "supreme" lineage, or is the son of a stronger God. Give him a weak power and let him become strong with that single skill, It would be much more beneficial .

Overall, this story is average at best.
