Deep below the earth’s surface, a mystifying subterranean seascape lurks, an archipelago bathed in inky blackness where suspense and horror hold court. TL Note: I read a few comments from Chinese readers that compared this novel with Lord of Mysteries because of similar elements: Lovecraftian, western fantasy, first industrial revolution, and steampunk. However, I have yet to finish reading Lord of Mysteries to do any actual comparison, but I do think those who have enjoyed that novel would enjoy this as well. Also, the author of LotM, Cuttlefish That Loves Diving, also did a shout-out for this novel, so I guess he approves of it too? Collapse

      There is harem. But I dont think thats the main focus of this novel. Each character adds something to the story. So if you think its all going to be dead brain big booba harem, then you're mistaken.

    I didn't find it, but I'll try to talk briefly,

    MC wakes up on a ship, the sea is a place of madness and gods etc., it's a work of self-level, the bad thing is MC and the characters are annoying, MC was manipulated without even knowing it, his memory was altered by monster, And yet he still loves the monster, he says he has love for his memories of the earth, but he doesn't even care when a monster altered it and stole his memories, he is crippled, he is stupid,
    But it's still a great work, I dropped it because I was too lazy to read a harem, and also because the MC situation is annoying in itself, he's basically useless in this world, there are no hacks, artifacts, intelligence, he has nothing except his desire to return to earth.

    You can read it if you like good mysteries, a good puzzle, and a solid plot, but don't expect a great protagonist, this mc is precarious.

    I only read about 200chps, I stopped because I was reading Kingdom's Bloodline, I stopped Kingdom's Bloodline at chps 160 to 170 (in the time skip), in fact I only read until the chp where he meets the nun, and she basically indicates that MC is from Earth, but the problem isn't even that, but rather THAT FUCKING USELESS CHARACTER CALLED RASCAL!!!!!! I JUST DROPPED THROUGH THIS GARBAGE!!!!!! CHARACTER WHO WILL PROBABLY LIVE UNTIL THE END OF THE WORK BEING USELESS.
