Initially, Lin Mo intended to become stronger through cultivating diligently. However, he discovered that staying idle was more comfortable. Most importantly, he could level up by doing nothing! Since he could achieve his goals by lying idle, why would he trouble himself to stand and work?

Lin Mo transmigrated to a martial arts world and realized that he had no talent in cultivating at all. Fortunately, he awakened the Idle Upgrade System. He could become stronger by staying away from the rat race and enjoying life.

Lin Mo lamented, “It’s not that I don’t want to work hard, but truly, there is no opportunity for me to do so.” As such, the most bizarre Martial Arts Saint in human history was born. Collapse

This was so uncomfortable to read. The whole stalker arc with girl who keep going against after MC for no reason and him being "umm whattt??" without resolving it, making it bigger and bigger was the worse thing I've read in a while.
Also, everyone else is so obsessed with MC that the whole town know how trash he is and how every rando would start spouting nonsense about him is so cringe. Like we get it author you wanna set it up for a big face slap but stop its become unreadable.

Wait which girl are you talking about again? I can only remember 2 girls, oh wait I understand now, you’re talking about the first girl who everyone thinks he stalks because he’s always at the after school training centre. I thought you meant a girl was stalking the main character. Well it wasn’t that annoying for me since he’s getting all that involution and becoming stronger. Plus she wasn’t acting like a b!tch about it, she acted like how a lot of women would if people told her she was getting stalked and all evidence pointed towards it.

What do you mean it wasn't resolved? She wanted to thank him, he simply said I don't want anything from you, and instantly killed any sort of relationship that could have been, case closed.

Was it a total waste of 60 chapters of a setup, probably, but it was resolved.

so, the culture of china is to be racist and nationalist? are you sure?

if a novel contains nationalism and racism, you should hate that, and not defend the chinese author by saying it's their culture. for example, in my imaginary culture it's okey to kill people, so it's okey to kill people now just because it's the rule of my culture?

honestly, I despise people like you who defend racist people for very dumb reason, what if the target of the racism was you? what if in the novel the racist chinese author targeted your country?

you are like one of those toxic people that praises racist people and murders just because it's cool, honestly, I very much despise people like you.

YOU should despise racist and nationalist people and not say to just accept that, honestly why are you commenting against me when I say something against the racism?

the whole west is full of offended clowns who are very dependent on other people's opinions, learn to think individually, animal.
these are their moral principles and rules, to praise your country, if you do not agree with this, then you are exactly the same as a nationalist and racist, because you cannot accept someone else's opinion. you think like a herd, how many people, so many opinions, there is no other, as long as there are different people and different races. As they say, a person with good posture will always be a freak in a city of hunchbacks.

do you even know what racism and nationalism means? some chinese author are racist who think in Japan and America there are all evil people, and they demonize Japanese and American people in their novel and kill most of them. I have no problem if someone praise their country, but I personally wouldn't read a novel filled with nationalism and I said my opinion, whether you like it or not I can say my opinion. just because I disagree with an opinion doesn't it mean that I'm racist, for example I could say that I think that the chinese Author are wrong for their praise on the ccp because the ccp is not a good government.

you don't understand the west at all, and you should learn what racism and nationalism means, just because someone don't accept an opinion doesn't it mean that person is racist.

if I say that all Muslim people are terrorist that would be racist, if I say that I don't like nationalism in a chinese novel that would be not racism because I didn't discriminate against anyone and just said my preference.

The only racism and nationalism in novels I despise when author involves real world politics into their story making Chinese superior to I. E. Inferior west or "criminal" Japan.

Otherwise in world racism is fine if it's done for the purpose of storytelling because in the end to make realistic story we can't run away from uncomfortable topics.

True dude probably meant to say that Chinese like to praise their country. Nothing wrong with that and I support this.

But the racism part that he mistakenly included was his downfall as the salty people all jumped on him pressure

All the hate on Chinese novels is very weird to me as a wuxia fan. I think there are some radical people on the web who don't like any other country being able to be superior than america swindler

I also hate nationalism and racism in these novels, but honestly why even bother arguing? You can find morons like this in nearly every racist novel here. It shouldn't even be that surprising.
if a novel contains nationalism and racism, you should hate that, and not defend the chinese author by saying it's their culture. for example, in my imaginary culture it's okey to kill people, so it's okey to kill people now just because it's the rule of my culture?

For idle system novel he sure is working a lot to fire up others, doesn't match what it says it does. I wouldn't mind if it was just lazing around and getting powered up and fighting a mob here and there at random times. I guess torquise pond is best in that regard.

I would disagree to some extent with new reader parts. I am reading web novels from few years and I still liked this novel up to the latest chapter 101. It might probably become boring after 300+ chapters, but not bad at all if you want to read something that is not serious and have some fun reading a web novel.

These types of novels are similar to fast food, first you will love it, then slowly you would loose interest and ultimately stop reading it, heck you would barely have any intention to pick it up again ever.
We start off with a navie protagonist who even after having transmigrated thinks he knows what's happening around, he doesn't questions or even doubt the reality or the absurdity of the situation, he just goes; "Hey I'ma transmigrator, i am gonna be the boss of this world" like seriously man, at least try to be shocked at your situation.
Next is his Idle Upgrading system, kinda feel rip off of "My idle training system" from the same author as "Infinite Mana in the Apocalypse" but since this is a Chinese novel translations possibility of author of either novels copying the other are abysmally low, not to mention there are various differences but the Crux of the situation remains the same.
Next and the most appalling point of any novel; Arrogance + Ignorance + Blind Stupidity.
"That's the Lin family's child! I heard that his grades were too bad and his mentality collapsed. He gave up on the college entrance examination!"

"If he was going to give up, he should have done it earlier! Why wait until the third year of high school to give up? Doesn't he know how difficult it is for his parents to nurture a high school martial artist like him?"
"That's right! I heard that Old Lin borrowed a lot of money from someone to buy him a hundred-year-old ginseng!"

    "What an unfilial child!"

I don't know if this is really how Chinese people react to those that have weak potential, poor talents or are just poor.
In my place, if someone fails his exam we encourage him, tell him not to give up, help him and even if the person in question now lacks the motivation we would still tell to do what he thinks is best for him and support him (of course that's they don't veer off to the wrong path).
This is the most disgusting and most appalling significant drawback of any and almost all Chinese (especially xianxia) novels. It almost makes me want to not read them at all. Do note that I understand that some people might act as how they are portrayed but the limits to just some, not everyone except MC and his close friends and family.
Anyway, while i cannot foresee the feature and tell you how it will be, believe me this is not the worth your time unless you are new reader.

Well a lot of neighbourhood aunties act like that in China, though not many outright discuss it when the person they are talking about is near them. But many mothers would compare their children with each other and show off while also talking bad about other parents children, they just like to gossip.

While novel is not top tier(Primal hunter, defiance of the fall.etc), the grammar is above average, the story itself is quite good. Good comedy and the mc’s power progression is also very fast. The novel also has unique ways of dealing with the villains at least till chapter-94. If you are looking to just read to pass time or something I recommend it. And no the nationality is not focused on that much. You can ignore it easily.
