This is not your typical tower climbing novel... It's not even a proper action novel, it's more of a comedic philosophical novel. What powers people possess doesn't matter, how strong is the MC compared to other people doesn't matter. MC is broken and CANNOT be killed, literally. The main purpose of the novel is to explore the 'people' rather than the world... MC is not somebody who will become a dominating emperor in the future, chances are by the end of the Novel, MC will be more like Buddha... Give this novel a try but don't look for a typical action novel because it won't waste time describing stuff like how much Mana do u have, or even what level your Mana core is at? It rather spends that time to 'slowly' develop the characters or introduce new characters.. It also has Romance, and its early romance is basically in the form of an arc that focuses completely on romance...

This series has surprisingly beautiful chapters. I mean it, it delves into topics such as suicide, or starvation or various forms of death, trauma, and the ability to push on beyond all of this, and it does it in a strangely beautiful and artistic way as well. It uses aura, which is of course the stereotypical energy flow from someone, in such a unique way to express how emotions flow from it to create images or sound from it that describes feelings intricately enough that I can vividly imagine it. Then there’s character story’s that even the side characters will have from time to time. Even those side characters have intricate emotions poured into their stories, some form of trauma that tells their life story turned into a piece of art that’s vividly described to us readers, and it makes the story so enthralling at certain points. I think the first arc to implement this was the arc where he meets his lover. That arc was about exploring love, both the painful parts of it, and how when you love someone, you’ll push through even the painful parts for them to be with them in the end. After that was the arc where he gains his teacher. This is the one that dives deeply into death, and various trauma. It also delves deep into character relationships, and how dealing with a dying loved one is, and how the last moments with them feel. After that is the current arc, the arc where he’s putting the fire plays back on the right path. He’s describing all the pain and suffering he has had to go through, and is dragging out similar sufferings in people and using aura as a form of art to spread it, to spread their stories and his own, and to implement their own feelings into others stories to empathize with them. Overall, it’s absolutely beautiful to see and I’m stunned the more and more I read.

I remember now. One of the reasons I find Korean novel unfavorable is punctuation marks. You can tell who I'd talking or if he is thinking or talking. Too much brain power used to understand

    The reviews are overrated.

The chapters dragging too much, so many repetition it feels like you can shorten 2-3 chapters into just 1 chapter. And it doesn't feel like the MC is clever, the author just throw the most needed skills to MC through Tower Clear Rewards.

And the lack of descriptions really irritating. Like what kind of skills or magic the top rankers use, or how their fighting styles or techniques in battle. I don't even know what their weapons look like. Only some vague people with names who speaking, arguing, and fighting each other without any clear appearance.

Also the Tower description really lacking. How the Tower floors work, what connecting them between floors. How the guild can challenge the tower and retreat so many times freely without even clearing the Tower floor?

    TLDR: It's a mess.

Well, I don't find the descriptions a problem (because I read the Manhwa) but can understand why it's a problem and yeah, some stuff it's not very clear, but I don't think you have to overthink it, if it's not mentioned it's not really that important, I can understand why you find it annoying but while I read it I never asked those questions, and even I did, I didn't mind at all.

About the plot, I think it's more about character development and how it influences the MC and the people around him rather than being a true challenge (even if MC isn't clever, which he isn't a genius, but he isn't dumb either) because you know, he can't die.

u are reading the wrong novel... It isn't about the fights or powers in the novel, MC is broken and that's a fact that the author isn't even trying to hide, the point is the way MC uses his skills and the emotional development of his morals...Its like the MC's chances of attaining enlightenment by the end of the series and becoming the new Buddha or something is higher than becoming ruler of the world because unlike other MC, our MC isn't going down the 'absolute power so that I can never feel despair' path

Author did try to be little more ambitious than other webnovel Korean writers and it's praiseworthy than to certain degree he succeeded.

Unfortunately novel is very chaotic and contains huge amount of nonsense that doesn't affect plot in any way. Worldbuilding is pretty much bare bones small and empty.
Additionally grammar is weird. I feel like it's not even translators fault. Just author uses weird stylistically words and tons upon tons of unneeded ones making me pretty often scroll chapters unnecessary nonsense.

Main reason I persavere with reading though is how Mc seems to posses almost literally balls of steel and focus on non standard solutions when climbing the tower. Strong arming the route along the way with op skills doesn't seem to be the wya of this novel.
Ohh, and power system seems to consist only of martial arts. Magic seemingly exist but is literally brushed aside and "just works". There is no mana or incantations or anything. Magic could have not exist altogether rather than this illogical implementation.

I agree with most of the things you pointed out. While I was reading, I didn't find weird stylistically words, or I don't remember it. About magic, I think it's just another skill, same like all other skills that just work because the tower gives it to the people, techniques and other stuff is unrelated to the tower itself (There are skills that helps people to get better at it, but you get the point)
