    okay honest opinion. I have caught up to the novel and i gotta say i kinda love it. The world building is pretty solid on a small scale. Rather than a world wide map like ac odyssey, think of it like the world map in diablo 3.

    The gender of the mc doesn't play a major role. So even if she is a female, the only thing that affects is that the players lust for her a lil. Her decision making is the same as any other mc.

    The flow of the story is steady without any sudden spike in power levels. Also there is a semi defined levels for power and it isnt vague. The main side characters are two dimensional and have their own quirks, unlike other novels with god mc where the side character's only role is carrying out orders and getting angry when mc is slighted.

    A good read till now. One of the better popcorn novels

    The plot would've been so good if it weren't written by such a stupid Chinese author. Not being racist or anything, for I've read some good Chinese novels. But so many books that have had great potential have been ruined by these half assed Authors. All in all, the concept is great, execution is terrible. Dropped.

    The writing quality is simply horrendous and bland, making immersion impossible.

    For example:

    The author capitalizes H of the he, forcing attention on it.

    The orcs use the sentence "Hurry to stop her..." To stop an elf from blowing itself up, instead of "NO! STOP HER!" and the like.
    Basically there is no emotion behind any sentence.

    Information given to us is simply not thought completely through before we receive it, for example:

    we are told that the mother tree was killed 1000 years ago, why is it's body untouched till now?

    How does everyone know that it died exactly 1000 years ago?

    Shouldn't they use sentences like "she has been dead for over a millenia"/"It has been countless centuries since her death" Etc.

      Bro first read the novel properly. don't just skim through to be the first ones to review. Some of your concerns may be correct but it has been mentioned why no one was able to destroy the body of world tree as the world became too weak to bear the presence of god and anyone below the god cannot destroy the body of god . check chap 19 "At present, the magic power on the continent of Sagas was at a low ebb. The gods who had already stayed in heaven could temporarily not come to the secular world in their original forms, including Eve's potential enemies"and to kill a god does not mean to destroy their body but to consume and destroy their divine force and its source. And history like war is always remembered as we remember our first and second world war in 1914 and 1939

        I think IGN would have us believe that a 3.8 is shit and a 4 is just barely passable. I haven't read it yet but if I gave a 3.8 to 4 I would call it solid as well.
