A scientific genius named Thomas Harrier was transmigrated to an imperial prince body after a car accident that took his life. He found out that he is in a world similar to our own with a timeline akin to early twentieth century.

The body that he is occupying was the imperial prince of a failing empire who suddenly rose to power after a successful assassination attempt of his father. Unaware that the attack is just the beginning of what is to come. He faces many challenges throughout.

Will Thomas Harrier be able to live his second life in peace while running an empire and getting it back to its former glory? Or will he succumb into a conspiracy lurking within the country’s borders?

    The story kicks off with Thomas' unfortunate demise after smashing into truck-kun's massive white vehicle at high speed, which results in him reincarnating and inhabiting the body of the Empire's current Crown Prince, Alexandre.

    Thomas was gifted since his past life with a Photographic Memory perk, that he exclusively utilizes for printing out whatever Cold-War era tech blueprints his country is capable of producing. And rather than Investigating Terrorist attacks on his person, Sherlock Holmes style (a missed opportunity tbh). Add to add to that his weird decision making process
    .

    The supporting cast however, is filled to the brim with generic 2D copy pasted characters
    , except for a handful, which results in lackluster dialogue, and predictable outcomes.

    The world is set in a fictionalized pre-WW1 planet earth, pre-WW1 era, which the author makes good use of when referencing historical events and characters. Which is enough incentive to keep reading, and looking forward to next chapters.

    As for the grammar, nothing noticeable that may break your immersion.

        so far chapter 96 here and finished the former and up to date with the later. If i had to rate the 3 novels.

        I would rate them:

        9.0 - tyrant of steel
        8.0 - release that witch
        ----
        6.0 This novel.

        I like power fantasy like novels so tyrant of steel for me is the best. It also has a mc that is smart and that feels he is always in control. The small harem also is nice and has character and depth. The only downside is that there is no real suspense or a real opponent so generally those novels will lack anticipation but i found that in that novel it kept you hooked from start to now.

        Release that witch is full of suspense and opponents and has more mystery then the other two because it is the most fantasy like novel out of all. The romance is garbage. Creations in this novel are the least detailed but good enough. The first part is a power fantasy how he basically is fighting with guns vs swords and that got me hooked but after it becomes fantasy like and his tech advantage disappears a bit and the novel went a bit down in quality for me.

        Then this novel... mc has high iq but low eq. Romance is rushed and not detailed at all. World building is not good. Characters have no real depth. I mean the first thing he does is cure a disease that has no current cure and does not even hide the fact that he made the cure... he also makes tech but it is someone he 'knows' that makes all that tech. His country is corrupt but everyone is really supportive. Realistically he should have been executed by the nobels at this point. The story progression at least is decent and there are no real taboo's of yeah not gonna read it anymore. For example ntr or him losing over and over.

          Tyrant of steel was kinda bad in the beginning. You could see his plot armour most times. The building processes are not explained and the blacksmiths make everything he commission in the first try. FL is kinda meh.
          Release the witch was great in the beginning unification arc then magic takes over.

            Did not find the mc plot armor that excessive besides him running like a moron in front and getting his eye crushed so he learned his lesson... the thing i found weird was how fast people adapted and how fast tech evolved like you mentioned but i rather have it like that then be a long grind and it kinda made the novel more fun for me because diving to deep into the parts will make the novel stale. The fml just gets better the more the story progresses. Or if you mean the cry baby cousin then y at least she gets more side lined later on and the other ones are excelent.

                I read too many novels that my expectations are irrelevant xd. From the summary i expected social reforms in correlation to tech upgrades and that is what i got and much more but as a programmer reading how every fmc in girl books are top hackers that can hack the fbi database in 3 seconds makes me understand your viewpoint entirely and i can see from the title that that is what people could expected.

        more than readable if you are bored. C+ or B- novel. Not bad if you want to waste some time. The character development is slow but it's there. I think it's actually pretty good for the war porn alone. I often skip any of the science/engineering sections since I do believe it's kinda bullshit how fast he's building up his tech tree. But if you suspend the disbelief, then it's a fun read.
