    Just a Question on Harem tag.

    IS IT REALLY HAREM?

    I mean MC is in an online relationship.
    And isn't thinking or gonna think about other thats how mostly MCs are in such novels.

    MC may have multiple female friends but he don't want to be relationship with other women other than his girlfriend. I think that kind of novels is harem at all. The tag is just there to attract harem lovers.

    So just asking is it Harem?

    Is MC in a relationship with his Gf plus with other girls openly and accept and show they are in relationship?

    Anyway...

          Polygamy is having many WIVES
          Harem means the MC is surrounded or liked by many FEMALE CHARACTERS in the story(doesn't really guarantee them being in a relationship with him)
          That's why if I see a harem tag I gotta search/ask if there is polygamy cause it's irritating for me to see them making an effort of getting close/confessing to the MC only to be left with an open ending or worse rejected

        Maybe it would be like Library of Heavens Path he takes one extra female at last.
        Or Like Peerless Genius System committed to wife but still in love with an assistant but later takes the poison girl. They are all like forced harem.
        It's harem (but not likeable kinda harem to me Its like author making last minute decision with thought dang my fans want harem so lets give it to them kinda harem.)

    Up to chapter 83 I can say the novel is ok. Has a good amount of moments I've chuckled to so far, but the story is nothing new, every aspect of it has been done better in other novels. I've found the pace to be quite slow, but nothing has felt like filler, so I'm looking forward to a pick up in the pace if I pick this up again later. The dialogue can be extremely on the nose with the direction it's try to head and with the points its trying to make, and other things are just super coincidental for the sake of plot. The characters are a good mix of throw away side character(usually the ones to get faceslapped), side characters that stick around, Huang Xiaoqi and Lu Ping. Li Ping and Xiaoqi's relationship is sorta barely explained how it happened, but it's a bit more explainable than that one where the goddess falls in love with some random mortal. The setting is sorta futuristic, with VR in there, but there's also TikTok(?) still and it actually leans more towards cultivation being important. It's more interesting to me than just a modern cultivation. It's fun to read and to where I've gotten, a decent novel 6-7/10. Long review for no reason, probably missed some points cuz I don't take notes
