    This is well written but it becomes stupid very quickly.

    He can instantly kill any monster under 5% hp and then turn it into a summon. At like chapter 15 he kills a raid boss and from that point i just wasnt interested.

    The fact hes walking around with a raid boss makes me very uninterested in the main premise of the novel, the monster merging.

    He gets these cool items from an npc like a grim reapers scythe or a basilisks tail but i know no matter what it wont be better than the raid boss so i dont care.

    Also he wastes synthesis items regularly, at an early chapter we established the merger needs compatible items. Mf merged a preying mantis and a lizard tail and was surprised when it was trash.

    All in all i think its well written and ill continue reading it but honestly im f#cking frustrated because of these few little things.

    this novel is like fast food, is nice in little portions, too much at the same time and you are going to be sick and if you threat this even as half a gourmet a quarter even, every minute is going to be hell.

    You're right, there aren't many stories out there with female main characters, and when there are, they're usually about romance or teen angst.

    Females are, because of the way society has created such a difference between the gender identity of a male and female, as well as the tailored content we're exposed to since birth, less likely to want to read action and adventure stories.

    Authors that produce content like this story will make their characters male, because it appeals more to their target audience, which is mostly exactly that. It's why Japan has classified content for their younger generation as 'shounen' and 'shoujo.'

    There is an undeniably huge difference in the content that each sex consumes from birth until their early adulthood that will form the basis for their tastes and consumption of media in the future.

    As the world continues to grow and change, and more people of both genders start exploring more genres, we'll see a rise in female leads, I can almost guarantee it. Also, there are some totally fantastic female MC's out there already, and you can use the tags provided by Ranobes to find more.

    Best of reading, because everyone deserves to have a good book/novel to enjoy!

    Not negatively reviewing it but starting to get disappointed at all the cover arts with a cool, powerful looking female only to find out it's another male mc...

    Nothing against male mc but the scales certainly does tip towards them and it's getting to be a bit of an joke that there are more male mc novels with a female cover art than there are female mc with a female cover art!

    (Lot of people downvoting but nobody making an real points - of course they won't consider they'd feel the same if they clicked on some epic dude bro cover art only to find out it was a female mc. Not mad, just disappointed & tad annoyed.)

        Tags which aren't shown initially unless you click on the story - sure once or twice isn't annoying but when your searching for a new story and it's a constant thing if you pretend it's not going to be annoying it's clear you aren't even trying to understand my side.

        Honestly, there is an argument to be had about who's to blame for it but how would you feel if there was an epic dude on the cover and you clicked on it only to be welcomed my a female mc instead of the perceived on?

            Yea, the 'handsome CEO' genre can also be said to be very much guilty of the same thing but only reason I didn't bring them up is because they tend to allude more strongly to the mc's gender in the title. Still can be argued to be an annoying issue though.

      it's because of sex appeal. the same thing happens with novels portraying female protagonists, goodreads being a prime example. if a man is on the cover there, 90% of the time, it has a female protagonist.

    I like power fantasies but but like this just sucks and please here me out.

    So first and last(I was too tired to axtually make another one): No interesting relationships
    two parts
    -summons
    -players and NPC


    So, in most novels with summoners there will be a close connection with the summoner and summon, yes. Astral pet store is a pretty good example. However, this novel has a mc, who throws away, oh wait sorry, KILLS his summons after he finds a better one. He lit kills his summons to get like 20 bronze coins or smth. (average life of his summon of being controlled is like 10 chapters give or take)

    Next is like people basically, let it be players or Npc.

    So, why is it not interesting you may ask. Well because all of them are GENERIC ASS CHARACTERS, blushy chick who leads an all female guild, PROUD dominator guild boy who looks down on Mc, holy priestess who.....yeah(what do generic holy priestess do).

    This ends my review

    (No I dont just hate on like cheap cheat novels, there are actually a good amount of fairly gud ones like my summons are all gods)

        It is a bit misleading.
        He can't merge like two monsters together.
        His merging system works like such.
        Base monster + monster part(from dead monsters usually)= stronger monster

            Not quite.
            Hmm how do I explain this.....
            There were three different "merges" that have occured so far.
            One I will call is elemental change, the other body change and last equip.
            So if he merges animal and element say poison potion or smth then = posion animal.
            If he merge wolf with wolf head its a wolf with two heads.
            If he merges Bob with an axe then ummmm you get stronger Bob with an axe? Its not really that clear.

        Well it does make sense... ish. The slimes were originally attributeless but when he combined them with potions they added an attribute and since they're originally weak, they benefit alot from this change. In the later chapters the superiority of merges takes a deep dive, the only 100% superiority we've seen (I think) is with the slimes.
