«Old Tang, you activated speed-related Genetic Base Points. What’s the direction of those Base Points?»

This question caused Tang Ting to have a melancholic expression.

«It’s… Hand speed…» «And the right hand at that!»

Xu Tui slipped onto a daze.

Hand speed and the right hand. This image…

Didn’t the teacher say that it was easier to activate the Base Points of the areas you use the most?

«Old Tang, just what do you use your hands for?»

«According to that explanation, did I activate the Genetic Base Points in my stomach because I’ve eaten 18 year’s worth of meals?» Cheng Mo, who was on his way to becoming a glutton, looked up and sighed.

Xu Tui stroked his head, «Could it be because I’ve used my brain for 18 years?» Collapse

WOW, people are really missing big time because they dropped this novel. I'm right now at chapter 700 and, it is honestly one of the best novels I have ever read. It is just that good, very original and interesting. Some nationalism in the early parts, but let us be honest here, every novel nowadays has nationalism. At least it is not racism.

    I defentily recomand.

I read this to chapter 297 and was just too tired of it to continue. I'll give this novel a 2/5.

Besides the author hating the entire country of India for around 100 chapters and some nationalism. The author also often explains stuff in extreme detail to the point where they repeat themselves. The author is really good at figuring out ways to create filler paragraphs where nothing happens and irrelevant details are talked about.

The authors power system is around genetic evolution and the way they explain this at the start is alright but once they get to the school of general senses it becomes a bunch of b*llshit that really kills my immersion.

the hateboner the author has for india is hilarious. the dude is absolutely relentless.

the whole planet is supposed to be at war with a bunch of nondescript aliens for some unspecified reason, but really compared to the time spent shitting on india it's a footnote

exactly. i trried reading, despite all the hate because the system was original. but could not after a while.
i thought all that hatred and sabotage against other humans was unbelievable in a time where humanity is fighting against other aliens.
i think if there was not so much in fighting, the aliens would have been defeated before the mc was born.
one reviewer pointed out that hollywood too had its fair share of racism agaisnt other countries.
trust me, not even all the cold war era films put together have as much racism as the first 400 chapters of this novel. and even hollywood fics that had humans agaisnt aliens had humans uniting against a common foe.
      not so here.

I've read till chapter 180 and this is my take on the novel-

Good Point - It's a well written sci-fi novel with cultivation elements in it.

Bad Point - Chinese propoganda and targeting other nations. It starts after chapter 150. Actually, reading it made me laugh, this Chinese author has outdone everyone this time, targeting 3 countries at the same time.

And the hate towards India is esp strong. This is the first time I've seen India being the target. Usually it's the USA, Japan or South Korea.

You can read it if Chinese nationalism propoganda doesn't bother you much.

I dropped this novel some time ago and I do not exactly remember when. That being said, Bro, I cannot give you an unbiased answer as I myself am an Indian. So the hate is magnified for me.

Still, the idea that this book puts forth is novel. Other genetic books like Super God Gene or the genetic era etc. are written on the same premise but this book combines the genetic unlocking abilities unique to such novels with the cultivation genre. Its not a masterpiece but if you've got time, you may read this.

Either I've been brainwashed, or I haven't finished reading (109) yet, I don't see any propaganda, there is a hint of strong competition in higher circles, but so far I'm happy with the novel, at least that the characters have intelligence, that's enough (I don't know why updates have frozen here, it continues to be updated on other sites)

My god. It’s beyond racist. They are in. A war against aliens. And so far, they have been more humans killed by other humans than aliens. And all that in fighting and trying to be the best “race” in an inter galactic war?
No wonder these people are still fighting against the aliens.
I am waiting for the author to make either India or the us to “betray” humanity(China) and join the aliens.
As an Indian, this is not readable. I have read racist novels before(let’s face it, many Chinese novels are racist to some degree) but this takes it to a whole new level.
I am just skimming past to get the gist of the story now , and whole scale skipping parts where they talk about other countries.

Lets be real, how is what is described in this novel any different to what is actually happening in the world, this is not some authors made up BS racism rant. This a very good reflection of reality and what happens when earth and humanity is unable to unite culturally.

SIgh, it's quite good till ch 40 but it was dropped. There were info dumps but it was fine. The action was also decent, and the story was well-written. The characters seem to have a bit of personality to themselves. The MC is not stupid. There were flaws as well but nothing major.

So I went ahead to read the raws till ch120. And from when I had seen that 'Nationalism' tag and was hoping it would not go to shit bcoz of that, it sadly did.

Also, I don't get how we went from genes to apertures, that's not how genes work but whatever its nothing big in Chinese novels.

Don't ask for more chapters - this novel is just a piece of Chinese Nationalist propoganda bullshit; albeit a well written one.
It's just chock full of Chinese Nationalist propoganda. It's as if the author is being paid to spew his bile. And, the focus of his hatred is, surprisingly, at India, which is new. Usually, it's focused at USA.

      P.S.: I read the raws.

Recent Indo-China border conflict resulted in casualties on both sides with China on the losing end. You can search it up.
As for the two Indo-China wars, India and China both won one each.

Although there were casualties on both sides, Indian Analysts actually said that LAC (the de facto border rn) shifted a bit westwards. This essentially means China managed to achieve its goal, so I wouldn't really call it a loss for China.

Yeah, the Indian army retreated following the Disengagement Protocol which shifted LAC by about 1 km westward. This happened only in Galwan Valley. The whole LAC is actually more than 1000 kms in length (2000 acc to China and 4000 acc to India and 3440 km acc to articles on BBC). This westward shift happened only in the Galwan Valley region, which actually is not that large.

          https://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-india-53076781

This clash resulted in 20 Indian soldiers dead (17 of them died due to injuries and low temp) and 70 injured (Official Statement) and over 40 dead on the Chinese side (Official statement claimed only 4 but different intelligence agencies reported over 35). Below is the link:

          https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2020%E2%80%932022_China%E2%80%93India_skirmishes#Casualties_and_losses

This clash could've been the starting point of the 3rd Indo-China war. So India compromised (Did not send its soldiers to retake the area) despite its small defeat and China, as usual, controlled its media, reported false data and promoted its own victory while actually it had suffered more if we consider casualties.

This is just my opinion but if a non-nuclear war does happen between India and China, the final result could be in either's favor and the the one winning would achieve a pyrrhic victory. If Nuclear weapons get involved, then it would probably be the start of III WW.
