The MC is so annoying at the beginning (his personality doesn't change thaaaat much just a little bit and he's actually not that bad, he still have annoying moments (when there's a girl around) even in the future, but a loooot less compared to the beginning), but the novel just keeps getting better and better. Usually we have the problem of great beginnings and not so good middle and ending. Here it's the opposite, the beginning is easily the worst part of this novel, the middle is great and the last arcs are f#cking insane. The world here really feels real and not just an artificial world to power up the main character. There's romance (and harem), so be warned. There's the classic cold/ice girl, but here we kind of have a reason for that and she is great, her development is great if we compare her with those cold/ice girls. There are other girls too, but I'm only in the mood to talk about my favorite.

If you can read through the first 100 or 200 chapters, I would say you're going to have a great time reading the novel.

[Maybe a spoiler] the main character obviously is gonna be someone great, but he is not gonna be the one there. Just like there's great figures of the past, he's going to be one of them, but not someone who is above everyone of the past, present and future. I liked how he isn't changing the whole world just because he is there, because that's Impossible. He's leaving his mark, but the world is not something him alone could change and no one can, they're not powerful enough to do that.

If you get past first 300 ch it is very good

One of the best written novels. It really draws you into this magical world. I've been reading novels for a long time and i can say that the power scaling in relation with the people habiting this world is the best for eg : how the mc climbed to this level and the power of antagonists/rivals vs mc. The personalities of the people are the same as our world. There is not that element of exagerations.
It has a beautifully adapted webtoon and an anime also. The webtoon is so good.

Ch33 and the amount of unnecessary waffling and repetition of information is just too much. Was the audience for this novel originally meant for kids?

I have read it in Chinese several years ago.It's a good novel but…too long.
