Zenith Online: Rebirth of the Strongest Player by ApexPen

Overall, it’s okay. Nothing groundbreaking, solid world building, characters are hit or miss, and the story is a mixed bag. If you like the VRMMO genre or liked Shura’s Wrath you’ll probably enjoy this novel. I’d give it a soli 6.5 or 7. Slightly above average for a webnovel.

I still havent read this but it still bothers me how can a story about VR games and gaming could be so dramatic. I think these authors want to imitate the success of ROTSSG but they end up overdoing it and it becomes so cringey.

why is it that EVERY story about vr games the people get powers and abilities, and they have aliens or gods or something who created the game because they are looking for certain people?

They lacked the strength to walk those peaks and even lost their heads.

I have read up till chapter 338 (latest as of this review). Some of my largest critiques is that the author doesn’t know how to right a character or make character interactions. It’s like a blind person trying to explain how colors look like. The author also fails to keep consistency, with characters personalities doing 180’s and throwing a different stereotype. The worst parts are when they have memes used incorrectly. The story also seems to be going on a path where the Mc offends anyone and everyone other than the weaklings (good people)

The story is pretty good up till 275ish. The world building might be lacking, and the Mc might not have a personality. The dialogue might be inhumane. But the world in itself is pretty interesting. The powers and the overarching story is good enough to allow you to ignore the fact that the author probably hasn’t spoken to another person in 3 years. Reading this makes you want to know what else had happened in the past, and who and what are the secrets that are referenced.

Pros: interesting story and background lore
Cons: anything related to character development and real world building is awful

Not my cup of tea.
Mc we have a typical hero. He prefers morality to rationality and logic. He will choose the latter if he is cornered, and he will have such an opportunity.
(This may change in the future.)
I also didn't like the ms class itself. (I don't like stupid buffs) Although our mc is not very stupid, but not smart either.
This is proved by the fact that he knew that he was envied and hated, but at the same time, like a ram, he left everything in place.
He was lucky that he was able to start over.
And by the way, what does the R 18 have to do with it? (What was that chapter?)
Well, you can read the novel and even recommend it.

Somewhat decent novel but god forbid the MC has a monologue about emotions and shit. Fu#king cringe worthy as all hell man.

I'm not anywhere near finished only around 80 chapters. The story isn't bad, but you can only read "Gamer dies and restarts his new, OP character." Without figuring out what's going to happen.

If you like this genre this story is for you.

That said...I'm here to complain! The story title is Zenith Online...while in the novel its Xenith Online. Also there is the odd formatting sometimes like so
