Dr Dalton Wyatt, a world renowned Scientist and Inventor is transmigrated to the body of a high school student Dalton Wyatt who committed suicide due to unfortunate circumstances and complicated life.

The new world was completely different yet similar to Dr Wyatt’s home world earth.

Unlike peace full earth where humans fought other humans, This new world was plagued with Dungeons and Monsters people here fought with monsters for the survival of humanity.

Card apprentices are people who contract grimoire and use various powerful yet resourceful cards to fight off the monsters and conquer dungeons.

Grimoire provides the card apprentice with abilities like Card creation and Card fusion, most importantly it allows the Card apprentice to display their full potential in a cardfight.

Even though this world has the concept of science but it is not focused on electronics and industrialisation like back in the earth, here the world has cards for every little thing’s eliminating the need for electronics.

This new world is highly focused around grimoire abilities Card creation and Card fusion.

Coming to a world where money could literally buy him strength Dr Wyatt had to earn money for his survival.

But thanks to his otherworldly information and knowledge, card creation comes easily to Dr Wyatt compared to other card apprentices.

Dr Wyatt creates and sells various perfect, powerful and resourceful cards to earn money and get stronger step by step in this monster-ridden world for his survival.

    Fuvk. I've read up to 2000 chapters, and it was stopped by a messed up paragraph. I survived a chapter that was full of twists and turns of nonsense, a chapter full of info dumb, repetitive writing and so on. But I stuck with this story because I love the concept of power in this novel, it's very imaginative and full of creativity.

    Imagine how angry I was when I couldn't continue this trip.

    I have read 2018 it's interesting but frustrating how story come about , every step of the way each character is bothering mc regardless of their strength, everyone talking crap in middle of important conversation, even in life death scenario, none of the character match the setting author gave them,
    mc is always inventing somthing with knowledge of his previous and current life which is good but why is everything he invented is coveted by everyone one and mc dispite all the problem that arose because of it didn't learn anything thing , many things could have done discreetly but mc being smart enough to oversmart devil and demigods is leaking his own secrets and calling it mistakes,
    And lastly I can author's will to stuff more chapters but this way of writing I don't know which abusive word it best for you let's leave it your imagination.

    At chapter 630, only 1 minor arc is finished. This could've been great, instead it's a cluster-f#ck.

    The writing is atrocious    , ie:

    "You, give me that card!"
    He handed me the card realizing that handing me the card is the correct way to proceed and so I nod my head to receive the card.
    "Good, I like it when you're obedient."
    It's better for people to be obedient than not.

    That's NOT an actual excerpt BUT the writing really is like that.

    The pacing is atrocious.


    Because the chapters are short and the writing is clunky, a chapter would barely move the plot forward. ADD to that the heavily redundant writing PLUS a chapter can have only 2 card descriptions and maybe 4 back-and-forth clunky dialogue.

    Not only that, it's also that so many plot threads are opened but rarely do they close. So now you have an exposition dense story (not narrative information, just exposition) that keeps escalating without closing story arcs.

    That's why the pacing is atrocious. It's BOTH fast and slow and this is consistent. That's why it can only be called as a cluster-f#ck.

    The dialogue is clunky.
    Almost everyone only speaks in 1 tone, that's bratty. The hundred year old power house, the teenage next door, the mc. Most of the main characters speak the same way. Most say things that are just useless to moving the story forward or moving the characters forward. This isn't a slice of life story, most dialogue end up as forgettable nonsense.

    The characters are annoying.
    There's a LOT of annoying characters, the problem is that the author keeps introducing more and the MC doesn't really handle them. In a way this makes narrative sense since it's been like 2 weeks (at chapter 600+) but then it's been f#cking chapter 600 plus, why is the story still at 2 weeks?

    The escalation is nonsensical
    Within 2 weeks, the MC is mingling with world powers. The worst thing this author did is make card creation quick. It takes hours to make cards that are army grade and the MC is already at this stage within 2 weeks.

    This is probably one of the most painful poisons I have ever tested. I don't remember if I've reviewed this novel before, but here goes, I have 1600+ chapters read so far and... hell, it's so slow! Some people have already pointed this out, but barely 1 month of time has passed (in the story) and somehow the author managed to ruin his own perception of time by creating relationships between people that lasted less than 5 days seem like a friendship lasting a decade... it's a mess.

    The point is, the author also can't focus on just one thing at a time, he branches off one subject into another, leaving the main subject frozen for dozens of chapters, and at that point it feels like nothing but filler, it's very sad; in some chapters, you can even skip all the filling (which basically consists of repeating a dialogue in the narrator's 'voice', if you know what I mean) and just read the dialogues and you won't miss anything...

    Short chapters without relevant or unnecessary content also appear here. Initially there is only one big enemy, but more appear like cabbages, I mean, it's fine with me if it's explained well, the problem is that the plot of them all are frighteningly similar.

    At least the MC is no longer defenseless, he can fight and even win against beings much stronger than him now, under the right conditions.

    See, the creative side from the author still exists, the power system is well done and well explained too, the thing is that it takes forever before you read one of those creative things, like card creation or some combats.

    I recommend it if you want something creative or are looking for inspiration for something, idk, but if you want to read a story with hope for an end, skip it or just try a few chapters
