Chapter 747

Secluded Silence suddenly came to a realization. The reason why she was able to persist was because she was alive and had been using her own understanding of the Truth of Death to guard her remaining energy.

And once she died, although she had broken through the effects of death and her consciousness was still clear, her control over her energy would involuntarily become problematic.

In such a sealed environment, all of her energy would be drained in an instant, and the seal would then activate its final effect, depriving her of all her understanding of the Truth of Death.

After that, her consciousness would be completely destroyed along with her information, and her main body would be completely destroyed.

Secluded Silence only had a portion of her information remaining in other people's memories.

Although she could be resurrected from memories, at that time, a reborn body that had lost the information of her main body would be nothing more than a specious existence.

"Guerrigues' seal definitely wouldn't have such a huge loophole. Even Negri wouldn't be able to save my consciousness from this seal."

"But if Negri wants me to do this, would he have a way to preserve my soul and consciousness?" This thought involuntarily appeared in Secluded Silence's mind, because from the past until now, Negri had already created who knew how many impossibilities.

And now, there were two utterly rotten options placed in front of her.

One was to believe in her own judgment and ignore the information Negri sent her. Moreover, from the looks of it, this information was only sent by one of Negri's other-path clones.

The other was to believe in Negri and once again end her life here, completely embrace death, then place her hopes on Negri and pray for him to defeat Guerrigues.

Secluded Silence frantically calculated the pros and cons of these two options. Guerrigues should have read this information as well, so she wasn't sure if he would choose to descend even more consciousness to reinforce the seal and prevent her from committing suicide.

But at this moment, Secluded Silence realized that for the first time, she had jumped out of the pit of rotten and worse. She also realized that there were things in this world that were even more uncomfortable than choosing between rotten and worse choices.

And that was that both choices were equally rotten.

"Should I believe in Negri?" Secluded Silence's mind was about to explode. In a game of this level, she could only be considered a slightly larger chess piece.

"One passively awaits death, the other actively seeks death." Secluded Silence was on the verge of tears. 'Lord Negri, please speak clearly. You only said that I should die, but I really can't think of any way you can save me.'

Of course, Secluded Silence also knew that if there really was a way to break the seal and save her, Guerrigues would make corresponding preparations as soon as Negri mentioned it.

"Right now, the entire Multiverse is engaged in a war of aggression and domination. If Guerrigues's power in a living world is 1, then Negri's power is 10."

"However, Guerrigues had the upper hand and sealed me first. This can perfectly make up for the difference in strength."

"According to the comparison of power and the strength of the seal, Negri's current power is not enough to save me from being sealed."

"Therefore, I can't rule out the possibility that Negri is deceiving me. He indeed needs me to commit suicide to push the development of the situation in his favor, but my life and death are not important to him."

"In other words, all he wants to do is deceive me into choosing death. It can't even be considered deceiving me, because he never promised to save me from the very beginning."

"This involves Negri's way of doing things."

"How is Negri's character? Is it possible that he is deceiving me?" Secluded Silence thought about her impression of Negri, as well as the entire Multiverse's evaluation of Negri.

Then, Secluded Silence became uncertain. Many existences had their own evaluation of Negri, but the most well-known one was that Negri would always give everyone a chance to save themselves.

Because of this, even if he did not become the Voice of Origin, his reputation in the Multiverse barely made him a True God.

After becoming the Voice of Origin, he became a great being worshipped by countless people in the Multiverse.

"Save myself, huh?" Secluded Silence took a deep breath, recalled the various interactions she had with Negri, then suddenly thought of something and smiled bitterly. Giving up one's own life required a great deal of courage.

But under Negri's coercion, she had done such a thing more than once.

Last time in the Divine Abyss Multiverse, she had given up her own life and sunk into the Abyss. But at the time, she had done so in order to survive. But now, a single misstep would mean true death.

She, Secluded Silence, would completely die. Even if she were to revive from the memories of someone else, she would be nothing more than a specious existence.

However, Secluded Silence had her own merits. She was extremely capable of carrying out her decisions. Once she made a decision, she would do everything she could to carry it out. Otherwise, she might not have been able to leave the Moon Tree world.

And so, under her own control, Secluded Silence's body began to collapse.

The collapse of her life structure caused Secluded Silence's soul to approach death. However, she had already seen through the effects of death, so her consciousness remained clear even after death.

The entire seal also changed in an instant. Secluded Silence silently muttered 'sure enough'.

Guerrigues must have also received that piece of information, so she had already responded to it. Now, all that remained was to see how Negri was going to break Guerrigues' seal.

But Secluded Silence was thoroughly disappointed. Either Negri had lied to her, or she hadn't managed to break through Guerrigues' seal.

The entire seal was operating normally. The energy within her body was rapidly being drained at a rate several hundred times faster than before.

Following that was her soul. Under the operation of the seal, it was quickly turned into the most basic of energy particles.

Her consciousness left her soul, Secluded Silence unwillingly struggled, but to no avail.

The Truth of Death that she had comprehended also quickly left her consciousness and was extracted from the seal. Perhaps, it would be inherited by that so-called Lich King.

She saw true death. Her consciousness was extinguished, her information was dissolved, and the existence known as Secluded Silence would never appear again.

And yet, the Truth of Death in this world didn't manifest itself. Despite being so close to death, Secluded Silence wasn't able to comprehend much of the Truth of Death.

Until a sound rang out. When her consciousness was infinitely close to death, Secluded Silence saw death.

She was stirred by some existence, and from the hidden state of being suppressed by life, she began to emerge.

That sound was indescribable, indescribable, and indescribable.

It was as if in the center of the Multiverse, there was a great existence that was hard to understand. Her body was hard to be classified by size, and her colors could not be described even if you tried your entire life. She was like an endless flame, but also like a soaring giant bird, or the appearance of you clenching your teeth and refusing to admit defeat.

He was playing and humming a strange tune that no one heard, no one appreciated, no one touched, and yet seemed to be the same.

However, the moment you heard it, you understood that this tune was the truth that you were looking for. It was the thing that you had prayed for your entire life, and it was the dream that you could dedicate everything to.

It wasn't just death, but it also allowed Secluded Silence to truly touch the Truth of Death.
