Chapter 395

In the middle of the desert, a single person was slowly walking.

This person had a tall and slender figure that didn't seem human at all, standing about 4 meters tall with a pair of pointy ears.

He was wearing a thick turban, his head was lowered, and his steps were slow but firm.

If one took a closer look, they would notice that he was missing a few of his fingers, his eyes were also blindfolded, and there was the mark of a sprout between his eyebrows. He was the innately malnourished protagonist of this Moon Tree world, Chromie.

This desert was the land of miracles of Barren Shadow, one of the seven Gods. His figure had once appeared here, and his followers of the Voidwalkers often walked here alone.

Chromie sighed. As the captain of the Saint Hunters of the Sun Shadow church, after the Dim Silence Descent incident, he was secretly given a mission, which was to head to the great desert, where one of the three elven Pillar Gods, the Hunter's divine temple was located.

His mission was to go to the ruins and bring back some things, and he couldn't expose his identity.

Unable to refuse, Chromie had no choice but to head to the great desert by himself, using the moonlight ring to disguise himself as a normal scholar. In the eyes of outsiders, he was a bespectacled middle-aged man in his 30s.

In the ruins, not only did Chromie obtain what the Sun Shadow church wanted, he also borrowed the authority granted by the sprout of the Moon Tree to obtain some of the Hunter's remaining authority, even triggering Barren Shadow's divine descent. If he hadn't used the angle of silence to escape in time, he would have already been caught by that naked man, Barren Shadow.

"Desert nudist party, huh?" At this point, an excited voice resounded from afar. Due to the teachings of Barren Shadow's Voidwalkers, they believed that God was hidden in a place where no one was, and that only by being naked and experiencing nature would one be able to sense God.

For this reason, whenever they were alone in the wilderness, the Voidwalkers would always strip naked and experience nature.

But the members of the Voidwalkers weren't limited to men or women. Although Chromie didn't really understand what a nudist party was, the vulgar tone of the owner of the voice was something that any man could understand.

Chromie's expression was a bit strange. If he had really seen those women, he probably wouldn't be this excited.

After walking for a while and climbing over a small sand dune, Chromie finally saw the person who had just arrived. The person was wearing a white robe and did not have any supplies on him. He was walking through the desert with an excited look on his face, hoping that a female Walker would suddenly appear.

This person who appeared out of nowhere might be the pursuers of the Walker organization. Those people had been chasing after him until now.

Chromie maintained his vigilance. The Moonlight Ring on his remaining fingers lit up slightly, and his body merged with the desert. He didn't enter the aspect of silence because he had used it against Barren Shadow before. Although he managed to escape, the Walkers who chased after him all had the ability to observe the aspect of silence.

After obtaining the remnants of the Hunters, Chromie wasn't afraid of these Walkers anymore. Although he couldn't compare to the avatars of the Righteous Gods, but other than that, he had nothing to fear. He even dared to try and kill some of the Evil Gods.

What Chromie was afraid of was that the Walkers wouldn't care about their own lives and keep him busy until Barren Shadow arrived. He might be able to escape from them once, but he wasn't sure if he could escape a second time.

Chromie hid within the yellow sand and silently observed the white-robed man. After looking around, the man walked up to where Chromie was, took out a shovel from somewhere, and started humming a song: "I have a chicken's craving wish, I wish to plant female friends, Spring will be sown, Autumn will be the harvest of many female friends, One will be the harvest of a loli, one will be the harvest of a mature woman, and the last harvest will be … a crossdresser?"

Killer J's shovel revealed Chromie's face, causing Killer J to call out the nickname he gave Chromie: "Didn't you go to the Hearthstone arena to cross-dress?"

Killer J's next question caused Chromie to be a bit stunned, but he quickly regained his senses and entered the aspect of silence, moving away from Killer J's shovel and asked with a grim expression: "Who are you?"

"I was wondering why the Boss would order me to do something so meaningless, turns out he was here to poach you" Killer J muttered to himself. Killer J muttered to himself. He had already returned to Negary's body before the war of the Grand Library erupted, which was why he was sent here to carry out a mission. Who would've thought that he would be sent to the desert to dig a hole?

Thinking that the Boss's orders couldn't be disobeyed, otherwise he wouldn't have any part to play, Killer J eagerly came here to dig a hole, and unexpectedly found Chromie.

Chromie scowled, he didn't believe that this man would randomly find a place to dig a hole. This desert was so big, of all places to dig a hole, he just had to dig a hole where he was hiding.

"Found him, that Blasphemer seems to have an accomplice as well" A sand dune not too far away suddenly split apart, several people jumped out from it and sent a signal as soon as they saw Chromie.

The light of a Divine Technique flashed, summoning the Walkers who were still searching in other areas to gather here.

It was true that the Walkers didn't like to gather together. They enjoyed being alone, and the presence of others would make them uncomfortable, even if they were Barren Shadow's worshippers. However, that didn't mean they wouldn't band together, especially when their target was the Blasphemer.

"What the f * ck, Σ (っ ° Д °;) っ, crossdresser, did you just poke Barren Shadow's chrysanthemum?" Killer J looked at the Walkers who had come out in full force, put one hand on Chromie's shoulder, and asked with a tone of half admiration and half surprise.

"Don't say anything, I can already sense Barren Shadow's presence" Chromie didn't have time to say anything else, the person next to him didn't give off any hostility. Although his appearance was inexplicable, he didn't have the time to care about that right now.

"Hunt the Stars!" Chromie raised his hand, manifesting a power around his body. His body then became a bit incorporeal and quickly reappeared in the distance. His speed had surpassed the limits of what the human eye could capture, if it weren't for some other senses that were able to capture the traces of his movements, they would have thought that he had vanished into thin air.

Among the three Pillar Gods of the elven world, the Hunter's duty was to invade. The Dim Silence Envoy would search for other worlds through different angles and gather information about that world, while the Hunter would be responsible for the subsequent invasion.

For this reason, the Hunter's power was naturally suited to fighting in other worlds. Because of this, the Hunter's ability was [Astral Perception], which allowed him to contact other worlds through the projection of the stars in the sky, then include himself in them and become one of them.

Even if the Hunter's subordinates were in other worlds, their existence would still belong to the astral world they had chosen. One thing to note was that the flow of time between two worlds was determined by the flow of matter in their respective worlds.
