Chapter 1235: Pinned to the Wall

Although this swordsman wielded an extremely huge sword and could swing it very actively, in reality, he would lose to anyone who could get close to him.

From the various abilities of this swordsman, it was obvious that he was a cavalryman. If he rode his own horse, he would definitely be able to create a huge amount of trouble, but Su Xiao wouldn't even give him a chance to get on his own horse.

Immediately after the kick Su Xiao bent down and cracks appeared on the stone platform under his feet.

*Boom!*

The stone platform began to crack at the seams, and an indistinct afterimage rushed towards the swordsman with a sword in its hands.

*A clang*

The sword struck before the man appeared.

The swordsman was about to stand up when a light blue flash suddenly began to approach him. His battle instincts made him raise his sword.

Along with a sharp sound, the swordsman was able to block this attack, but his four-meter-tall body once again slammed into the wall with a bang.

The green light in the swordsman's eyes dimmed a little. He seemed to be able to feel the pain, but it wasn't very obvious, so he immediately took up a position where he could counterattack Su Xiao, who was already rushing towards him at great speed.

Just as the swordsman was about to take the blow, Su Xiao appeared in front of him and struck out with his long sword.

The swordsman didn't say a word. The language he spoke was neither human nor undead. Su Xiao, on the other hand, only knew human and undead language, so he couldn't understand what the swordsman had said in the beginning.

*Ding*

The dragon flash and the huge sword collided with each other, and pieces of metal immediately flew out in all directions. Facing the sharp Dragon Flash once again, the swordsman's longsword was once again heavily damaged. Although he wasn't completely destroyed, after a couple of skirmishes like this, his sword would definitely be completely destroyed.

The swordsman leaned against the wall and it was immediately covered with cracks due to this collision. In terms of strength, the swordsman was clearly weaker than Su Xiao.

Immediately after that punch, Su Xiao sped up and jumped up, then used all his momentum and strength to launch another punch.

Under normal circumstances, the enemy would definitely be able to knock him down after such a reckless attack, but just as Su Xiao was about to attack with his sword, he stretched out and kicked straight at the swordsman's chest.

With a thud, the swordsman was almost half-slammed into the wall. Su Xiao used this punch to jump back and look around.

There was nothing unusual about him. Realizing this, Su Xiao clenched the fingers of his left hand, and a faint thread flew out from his wrist, with a hook attached to the end.

It immediately stabbed into the ground and the barely noticeable thread was quickly pulled taut.

*Sh-sh-sh-sh*

Su Xiao immediately landed on the ground and crouched down without taking his eyes off the swordsman.

His series of actions seemed to take a decent amount of time, but in reality, it all happened in an instant.

Almost immediately, Su Xiao once again rushed towards the swordsman and raised his sword over his head. The swordsman responded by holding his sword out in front of him, but Su Xiao kicked his chest in response.

Pushing back, he jumped up and used the thread to immediately crouch down.

When Su Xiao was on the ground, the swordsman was still standing near the wall. Due to the severe chest injury, his arms were spread out uncontrollably in both directions, and his mouth was wide open.

Su Xiao immediately charged forward and swung his sword horizontally.

*Whew*

Blood splattered on the ground. Although the swordsman didn't look like a living thing, his blood was red.

A cut at least ten centimeters deep appeared on the swordsman's chest. Several of his ribs were cut into pieces. The wound on his chest looked serious, but his internal organs weren't damaged.

Although the swordsman was pinned to the wall, his body was extremely strong, however, considering his rank and the corresponding skill, this was not something surprising. As long as he wasn't hit in the vital organs, it would be impossible to defeat him in a couple of skirmishes.

This swordsman was different from a Tributary. Although the Tributary was stronger than him, the Tributary's stamina was inferior to this swordsman's. The main difference between them was in their fighting styles and purpose.

But if a swordsman fought a Tributary, the loser would end up being the swordsman, there was no doubt about that.

After slicing his chest open with a single blow, Su Xiao twisted his sword and swung his sword backhand at the swordsman's neck. He immediately raised his sword in response.

*Sh-sh-sh-sh*

The friction of the blades made a sharp and unpleasant sound. Although cracks appeared on the blade of the swordsman's sword, he was able to block this attack.

But even though he blocked this attack, he couldn't block Su Xiao's next kick, and his foot landed right on the swordsman's pelvis.

With a sharp click, the swordsman almost merged with the stone wall. His body was almost completely sunk into the stone wall.

Su Xiao originally wanted to hit the swordsman in the lower back instead of the pelvis, but since his opponent was under four meters tall, he would only be able to hit the swordsman's lower back if he jumped up.

The swordsman tightened his grip on the hilt of his sword with both hands and immediately tried to cut Su Xiao into two pieces.

Su Xiao spun the Dragon Flash in his hand and placed his other hand on the back of the blade, raising the sword above his head.

The longsword slashed down with great force, and Su Xiao slightly adjusted the angle of the Dragon Flash.

The blades of the two swords collided again, but there was no unpleasant sound in the surroundings, as the swordsman's huge sword just slid to the side due to the tilt of the Dragon Flash.

This move was the swordsman's first counterattack. Up to this point, his situation was a bit dire. He was pinned against the wall and attacked endlessly, not allowing him to move away from this wall.

Unfortunately, his first counterattack had no effect. Su Xiao and the swordsman's speed was too different. Even if it was just agility alone, Su Xiao's agility was 8 points higher than that of a swordsman.

When it came to comparing true stats, even a 1-point difference was quite significant, let alone an 8-point difference. Although the battle didn't consist of a trivial comparison of stats, the difference in stats shouldn't be too big. Once the chasm became apparent, the battle would eventually be one-sided.

Su Xiao was leveling up four stats at the same time, which meant that he wasn't developing very fast in the beginning. When he had previously fought important characters from the derived worlds, he had always tried to avoid their attacks and tried to defeat them with their weak points.

But now, his cultivation method was beginning to bear fruit. The most advanced stat of his current opponent was 85 points, and Su Xiao's most advanced stat was 89 points after taking all the bonuses into account.

The swordsman's skills were inferior to Su Xiao's, not to mention his relatively mediocre speed.

The combination of all these factors caused the difference between this swordsman and Su Xiao to be too large, allowing Su Xiao to trample him down without a single chance.
