Chapter 709: Merely an Entity! |
In life, many beings have many different ways where they carry themselves.
Some are servile and some are overbearing, with many more staying in between these extremes as they simply pass through life. Some may confidently raise their heads to the skies while strutting about while others hunch over and keep their heads very close to the earth!
Those who can confidently raise their heads and those who can be overbearing- a lot of the time there is something within their psyche that grants them such a disposition. Something that is there to back up their confidence in the face of anything.
Some had wealth or high societal position to back them up, others simply cultivated a strong belief in themselves as they raised their heads high through pure hard work. When it came to the being holding the Trait of Protagonist though...his assurance to act high and mighty in the face of a powerful Entity was his fear of Death being removed!
Backed up by [Plot Armor], Noah in the form of the Void Serpent glanced at the Entity with his serpentine head held high.
The Void Serpent towered over 700 meters with all the buffs, its red eyes glancing towards the Entity who towered over 20 meters. This Entity had a humanoid shape with a face similar to that of human females...yet at the same time, it seemed different!
The face seemed like a mixture of human and devilish features as at this moment, it was filled with wrath at having its authority violated, and violated by someone at a much lower status than her!
"I have traversed the Dark Universe more than many can even dream of, seen things that you cannot even imagine. I have fought Entities proficient in terrifying Daos and come out alive, conquered multiple Galaxies and destroyed even more with ease! Yet today, a creature at the Lower Tier of the GALAXY Realm dares to be wild under my gaze?! You dare to kill when I say you cannot?!"
RUMBLE!
One must recall that this was an Entity! A title that was given to a being that the prerequisite alone was for them to be in the Peak Tier of the GALAXY Realm. The power of this being...was immense!
Yet Noah glanced towards her with even more calmness and arrogance as the rising pressure she released seemed to not make him falter a single bit.
"I dared! Will you continue talking and spreading out that vile aura, or will you act?!"
SNAP!
His words made all hell break loose as a grey-green light covered the Entity and caused her to instantly disappear, her titanic body reappearing right above the head of the Void Serpent as she pushed out her palm.
Only a palm, but it was filled with a terrifying power that would wipe away a Middle Tier GALAXY expert and heavily injured normal Peak Tier ones!
Her eyes shone with innumerable lights as her gaze became cold, this palm of her seemingly eclipsing everything as it expanded to be even larger than the enormous head of the Void Serpent. It was releasing a devouring power that sucked away all the nearby Vitality, even space itself as it began to turn grey and lose luster.
"Perish."
Cold! Powerful!
BOOM!
The strike fully shattered and devoured the surrounding space as a void was created, the body of the Void Serpent shooting out like a cannon ball as it was pushed back for tens of thousands of miles, eventually coming in contact with a planet as…
His body actually pierced through the planet and caused it to implode a second later!
WAA!
Noah only came to a stop after another few thousand miles as he came to a halt, breathing hard as he checked his body thoroughly to find...no injuries whatsoever.
"Haha!"
Raucous laughter erupted in the starry space as the Entity reappeared above the Void Serpent once more, her eyes glowing with a cold light as she shockingly observed the creature laughing wildly...to not have been injured even a little!
"That was all? Merely an Entity! Now move, I have work to do."
The body of the Void Serpent turned into a streak of light as its aura spread out and looked for more Fiends in the near cluster of stars. He actually ignored the Entity who could not injure him as he went to collect more loot.
The Entity herself hid the shocked look within her eyes as she appeared in the path of the Void Serpent once more, her palm shooting out as it carried with it fearsome essence of the Dao of Vitality!
BOOM!
Yet another strike from a powerful Entity, throwing Noah back for another thousands of miles before he came to a stop.
All he felt when the strikes his him were a sense of pressure that pushed him away, but no pain or injuries whatsoever! He shook his head towards the Fiend as he teleported away.
"Just stay here and relax for a bit, I'll be done and take my leave after I achieve my goal!"
He teleported away as he appeared in another quadrant of the Burning Domains, in the domain where the Elder Fiend taken down by the Aurora Galaxy Dragon used to oversee.
He left behind a stupefied Entity that was looking at her palm and sensing the Dao to make sure that she wasn't seeing things, her face turning ugly as her body disappeared to chase the nearest enemy aura once more!
In a few seconds, the Entity appeared in front of a flaming golden chicken- the fearsome Three-Legged Fate Crow who was going from star to star burning everything down to cinders.
BOOM!
A palm struck out against this unsuspecting chicken as she was thrown back for thousands of miles, but the same thing repeated itself as the chicken only looked towards the Entity with an annoyed expression after coming to a stop.
That's right! Annoyed!
The Entity saw this expression as she couldn't hide the stupor on her face anymore, the golden beak of the crow raising up as its voice was heard in passing while its body teleported away.
"Little Entity, don't bother us! We'll be gone in a bit!"
The aura of the chicken reappeared in another corner of the Burning Domains Galaxy as its Siege continued, the Entity sensing this with shock and bubbling fury as she went towards the other 2 attackers!
