Chapter 1084: I Beg My Death

Thump! Thump! Thump!

Orakha’s mind felt stifled by fear, unable to even process an escape plan. His body’s actions had slowed down to the extreme, making him resemble a stone. The organs were merely relying on the Prana within them to not experience an organ failure.

Thankfully, with Mystic Grade Prana, he could remain in that state for a long time. However, whether or not he wanted to remain as such was another matter altogether, ’It...IT...IT’S HERE!!!!!!’

’It’s here! That monster is here! It’s here! It’s here!’ He was going insane, for even if he didn’t want to, from what he had seen through Future Sight, there was just one outcome here.

An Eldritch Death!

Manmade horrors beyond his wildest expectations were what awaited them from the entity that had arrived, not just to the living beings, but the land, the terrain, and even for Sumatra itself.

Grotesque hands that had mutated to resemble blades of Prana, swirling about and drilling into a pair of eyes that crumbled down into sand. Nose that inhaled the surroundings into it and bloated the lungs, which were drumming upon the heart.

Every moment, the texture of the stomach was changing, in a rampant cycle of destruction and revival. As psychokinesis gathered in his heart and birthed into a blood-curdling monster that latched onto the lungs, the blades from the hands swerved in and hacked into it.

In retaliation, the stomach opened up to spew out various terrains. One after another, the organs branched off into their own individual selves. Every blood vessel became a grotesque monster and targeted each individual born from the organs.

All along, he, Orakha, was alive, his mind split between the various individuals, able to consciously feel every single blood vessel army hacking into his split being. This continued until his mind gave out and resulted in his death.

But soon after, he was revived, only to revisit the prior horrors from scratch, in a never-ending cycle. This was merely the first possible future that Orakha had analysed and derived using Future Sight.

Intermediate Silver Grade Pranic Beast—Brood Mother!

Every future that Orakha had analysed, all he saw were scenes of him experiencing horrors one after another, with his Mystic Tentacle powers turned against him, subjecting him to endless cycles of deaths and revivals.

Through him, the natives of Sumatra were forced to live in infinite loops. Worst of all, in all these possible futures, the cause hadn’t even actively targeted them. They were merely collateral.

Boom!

While Orakha was stressing too much, a Forest Boar walked through the defences of Grehha’s Dungeon and unleashed its Prana detection means through the tunnel created by Orakha into the deepest parts.

Casually, its Prana detection means approached Grehha. The Forest Boar tilted its head in confusion as, in the next moment, its body exploded.

Even the Celestial Boar’s skin burst from sensing the newborn variant of this entity. A mere Forest Boar trying to sense the same individual after the latter had grown a bit was straight up a death sentence.

"Stop there." The entity standing before Grehha uttered softly. In response, Orakha stopped moving, knowing very well the statement was addressed to him.

No longer caring about him, the Brood Mother eyed Grehha to say, "I have fully consumed the Celestial Boar."

"I’ve realised it." Grehha gulped in response, feeling something strange well up in his guts.

"I have fully consumed the Celestial Boar." The Brood Mother said again.

"Yes," Grehha said, feeling his body turn cold all of a sudden.

"I have..." The Brood Mother paused and curled up into a ball, beginning to cry, "I ate him up. So...why? Why must I continue being like this?"

She asked, "Grehha...you can hear me, right? I am speaking correctly, right?"

"Ye..." Grehha couldn’t finish his sentence, feeling suffocated now.

"I can’t perceive anything. I can’t hear my voice. I can’t smell anything. I cannot see anything either." As the Brood Mother uttered, a series of eyes appeared on her body and spontaneously died out, "Even in this, I can barely make out two-dimensional lines, a sort of microbial means of perception."

Pfft!

The Brood Mother sprawled on the floor, "I...I don’t wish to suffer any longer. Please..."

"Kill me!"

At the same time, Grehha collapsed on the floor as bursting out of his mouth were a series of insects resembling ants, centipedes, moths, bed bugs, etc. They were spawned out of his body. And as they filtered out of his mouth, they turned into a digested mush spontaneously.

State of Unity—Unlimited Predator!

Grehha was relying on the Influenced Region of Armoury to withstand its effects that had pervaded his body, mind, and soul. The creatures born out of him didn’t have the shielding effect from Armoury and hence turned into digested mush instantly.

’Just...her words tinged with her presence reduced me to such a state.’ That was all Grehha could think as creatures were spawning out of his body nonstop.

"I..." Grehha opened his mouth, barely able to voice his opinion while a sea of creatures spawned out of his buccal cavity, "I will help you."

By the time he had finished his sentence, his mouth was empty. His teeth, lips, and gums had been turned into the insects that flew out.

Grehha lifted his hand as a thick bone mist converged upon the palm. He extended his hand and touched the Brood Mother, beginning to turn her into a bone sculpture. A few seconds later, his arm collapsed. Barely a tenth of the Brood Mother had been turned into a sculpture.

"Assist...me!" He uttered and activated Mystic Bone Art, turning the blood sea into a digested fluid mass while he treated it as a part of his power and transformed the entirety into bone mist.

He then surged it into the Brood Mother, "I will grant you your wish!"

The bone mist surged into the Brood Mother’s body, invading her deep and turning everything in contact into a bone sculpture.

The sheer quantity of bone mist he had generated would have been enough to transform a large region of the Kalahatra Desert into a sea of bone. However, it wasn’t enough here.

The moment his bone mist seeped into her body, Grehha despaired, ’It’s...endless. Her every cell seems to have become a small world.’

’I...am sorry!’ He pitied the creature before him, ’I’ve subjected you to such horrors.’

Nothing existed in the Brood Mother’s being other than the will to die. However, she seemed unable to kill herself, no matter what she did.

"Please..." The Brood Mother begged upon seeing the sea of bone mist thin out. In panic, she bellowed, "Mystic Tentacle..."

"Come, kill me!"

Orakha hesitated only for a moment before he created a lava drill and pushed it into a Brood Mother, watching it drill into her, producing a stream of smoke in response. However, ’She’s...huge!’

Contained within her small frame seemed to be an endless stretch of mass, that even with Orakha’s power, while drilling into her without facing any resistance, seemed to take forever.

"Once he realised his ability, the Celestial Boar became an unkillable monster." Grehha said, "During the fight, he had an infinite stream of Prana to draw from. The source for it was his Major Treasure’s pillar of light."

That endless energy, capable of still being maintained even after the completion of its Influenced Region, had all been consumed. "The Boar Race she spawned at the Kalahatra Desert is merely a fraction of that infinite energy. The rest, has been built into her mass."

"Can..." After a while, the Brood Mother asked as she raised her hand, which was spontaneously covered by a brightly glowing fabric. At a closer glance, the fabric was made of strings of Prana. Pointing it to Grehha, she uttered, "Can the creator of this object manage to kill me?"

"Similar to the Celestial Boar, he was wielding a power potent enough to harm me."

State of Unity—Four Steps to Nullity!

’Inala?’ Grehha smiled wryly, "For that, you need to wait."

"How long?" The Brood Mother asked, not even realising that over a hundred lava drills were drilling into her body now. She didn’t have any senses to realise what was happening in the first place.

"Soon," Grehha said, noticing his vision was vanishing now. Following his vision was his sense of hearing, smell, and then touch. ’Is she transferring the power of the Minor Treasure of Linked Rupture to me? No, she’s linking my senses to hers?’

"Ahhh!" Tears streamed down her face as suddenly, the Brood Mother transformed into a human girl, closely resembling Harrala, Yennda, and Blola. She had ivory hair resembling a Mammoth Clansman as a glowing fabric covered her.

Major Treasure—Palm!

After the Royal Zinger’s Prana in it was expended, the Brood Mother gradually gained control over it. And now, she had made Palm hers. If necessary, she could even snack upon it, which she did from time to time, whenever hungry.

"Is this how sight works?" She relished in the effects as her hands mushed her face, "I...this is how touch feels...!"

"I...am thankful." She hugged Grehha and spoke, "After consuming the Celestial Boar, all I could instinctively perceive were traces of the Celestial Boar’s power. You were the closest, so I came here."

"Grehha..." She spoke as her arms held Grehha tight, "Why did you make me do that?"

"To ensure the Celestial Boar is dead," Grehha responded, no longer able to see. All he could feel was a slight physical sensation of someone gripping him tightly. His ears and mouth barely retained their functioning.

"Then, I am free now, right?" The Brood Mother asked, "I am free to die as I please, right?"

"If possible, I want you to live." Grehha touched her head and then, his hands slumped, delivering his last, "Eat me, and make my power yours. That might...help you."

"You are strong, Grehha." The Brood Mother uttered and relaxed her hold, watching Grehha drop to the floor and collapse into a pile of bone mist, "Seventeen seconds...that’s how long you were able to handle Linked Rupture’s curse."

"And that’s how long you made me feel alive." She slowly kneeled on the floor while facing the pile, "Even a Spectral Boar barely lasted a second. I understand now."

"Only a Mystic Grade existence can make me feel alive..." She had just completed her statement when a golden flash covered her vision.

She lost her senses the moment Grehha died, not knowing what to do anymore. Instinctively, she perceived the next location with the Celestial Boar’s power.

Boom!

Having exploded with all his power, Orakha reached high up in the sky and rained down golden flashes that destroyed the region. Forest Boars were a mere casualty, as each golden flash had enough power to cut one in half without feeling any resistance.

There was a crackle as Orakha turned an entire region within a 180-kilometre radius into dust with his endless flashes. Of course, he knew that wasn’t enough to kill her, ’Even when she resisted, I couldn’t kill her.’

"Shit!" Through Future Sight, he knew where the Brood Mother would go next. Without hesitation, he flew at top speed, ’There’s one more individual containing the power of the Celestial Boar!’

’I need to kill him fast, before she reaches there!’ He flew across the skies, rampantly using Future Sight to predict the timing of the Brood Mother’s arrival. And then, he continued flying, heading to his destination.

The Brimgan Empire!

"No," Inala sighed as he said, "The hatred in the Brood Mother will vanish the moment she kills the Celestial Boar. After that, she’ll be free."

"Kill the Celestial Boar?" Gannala instinctively took a step back, "Didn’t you kill him?"

"No," Inala sighed as he slumped on the floor, winching in pain when a sharp piece of rock stabbed into his butt, "I couldn’t manage it, as I feared. That’s why I joined hands with Grehha to create the Brood Mother. She was our final contingency."

"Then..." Gannala asked, "If...If she fails, would the Celestial Boar return?"

"Unless a horde of Mystic Grade existences simultaneously target her with their State of Unity, it’s impossible to kill the Brood Mother." Inala shook his head, "By now, she has consumed enough of the Celestial Boar’s flesh to have grown tremendously powerful."

"As long as that cocoon in the Kalahatra Desert managed to remain intact for a decade, the Brood Mother would have reached a level where she couldn’t fail even if she wanted to." Inala said, "And that time has already passed. Even if the entirety of Sumatra Continent’s strength were to target her, she won’t fail in killing the Celestial Boar."

"Or rather, I already destroyed the Celestial Boar. Only the ridiculous energy being generated by his Astral World is left. And the Brood Mother is rapidly consuming through that." He concluded.

And shouldn't boul and grehha know that brood mother will come for them kinda spoiler but it felt like boul was oblious to existence of brood mother even though he is the one who took gannala to the cocoon and and participated in fight gannala knows about brood mother ruvva should too

    Quote: Aaaaaaa
If she encounters Inala will she try to feel alive through him? Or she'll be afraid then that the RZ will not kill her out of spite?
What I'm trying to say is: is the brooding mother end goal is to die or is she preferring having a few seconds to feel alive endlessly?

    Let's adress this by points
She will probably attack him she isn't afraid of retaliation she instead welcomes it
She is basically a super smart but zero experience kid who was tortured and robbed of all her senses and is filled with will to die but has reached a level she can't even attempt sucide
I am not sure how it'll end up in future but she definitely wants die right now hunting mystic grade existences is probably also a indication that she wants to live but not like in her current state
If i have to say she wants to live but not this miserably
    Next would be inala's point
He is probably a mystic grade brully already with a stable state of unity that can last at least a minute(quite a nerf specially when it takes decades of training to bring it up) and brully race has high resistance though considering how orakha only saw death in future sight I am not sure if it can be counted on
But right now if there is a existence that can go head on with her it's him
but it's very likely that inala whether as Royal Zinger or Brully will avoid fighting her not just because of guilt or plans (Royal Zinger definitely regards her as important piece in game but its also very likely to backfire and loose control)but it's also because she is likely to develop resistance to their state of unity and get ideas about her own
Right now i believe unless for both Royal Zinger or bratty brully enters Celestial proper celestial realm not just strength they won't be potent enough to kill brood mother they need to probably become like Celestial zinger and Celestial Brully

I am also curious what state of Unity will Brood mother have inala estimated him grehha orakha or virala could enter highest realm and achieve unity with her build on rough estimate
But her secondary nature is temporary type with explaintion of unity we have how would that work
I believe it will probably like she will have different kind a adaptive kind of unity depending on opponent that will be scary too
Which also perfectly lines up with other overpowered state of Unity the unlimited predator
it quite literally was abused in such ways that would leave one stunned
Whether it's unlimited predator satellites , weapons shields counterbalance and mould were even permanent part of it even after he let go of treasures from which had initiated these features
And that's with just two gold grade major treasures and other minor treasures I am not even sure I am overestimating it but to me if looks celestial boar wasn't even at 2 percent of what full strength he could hold and brood mother is only pranic beast that can be said to be as ridiculous as it so her unity won't be simple either

Author is really good one Celestial boar was first introduced yes i knew it was overpowered but I was like in virla type of mindset that as long as they reach ten life stage and perfect their powers they still would be match
But boy i was wrong inala clearly saw what worst was held in this celestial boar because of Astral world probably won't even loose sanity even with 100 mystic grade major treasures as long as he is patient with it each one empowering his state of unity in special way
Inala was right if he couldn't deliver the final blow no one on sumatra could even mystic grades will become food and fuel his recovery
It's perfectly understandable that a creature as broken and monstrous as Brood mother was required to kill him and ensure his death

I can confidently say even right now on whole sumatra inala killing Celestial boar remains as number one feat across all eras

As inala said forget fourth even third major disaster might be too late
I can't believe I am saying this but it would be nice to see other novel with bangara as protagonist where he defeated mystic seven villain group kept getting overpowered and then faced a continental invasion with his family
With his son yamahara and wife yarasha being most close and powerful

From Barngara perspective the 7 weren't all that much untill the 2 major disaster, and they appeared on his radar only because Inala kicked everyone around like children

so it would be a tragedy (eating everyone he loved) and then 2 millennium of guerilla fighting the 2 packs of elephants trying to eat the supreme he helped create, a small ark helping Inala have his prana back and help creating his primariy nature, having a wife, having children and creating a clan (getting destroyed by Inala), creating an empire, assasntting one of the seven, preparing to go for the kill, the third major disaster

There is definitely factors that I think bangara is too influenced by his natures often times to make rational judgement
Specially primary voracious nature otherwise even if tragedy he suffered was so big he would have striked a deal with inala to annihilate mommoth clan while sparing gannala

i believe unless for both Royal Zinger or bratty brully enters Celestial proper celestial realm not just strength they won't be potent enough to kill brood mother they need to probably become like Celestial zinger and Celestial Brully

I do not think we would be able to see them go celestial, like ever, from a story's perspective.

The reason why the Royal Zinger is scary isn't because it has the potential to become a celestial. The reason why it's a broken existence is because an unprepared Royal Zinger can be killed by a mystic grade beast, but a prepared Royal Zinger can kill a FUCKING CELESTIAL WITH LIMITLESS POTENTIAL

Edit: unless the celestial of the mother continent is THAT insane I don't think we'll see a new celestial in this era

The disparity between a mystic grade and celestial Is like a 15 year old fighting the best soldier in the world and the 15 is winning cus he had prep time (at least that's how I think the disparity is between them) it's insane

Yeah inala feat of defeating Celestial boar bangara remains first in whole continent
And disparity could be even more really as we don't even have clear indication how good was bangara after his 19 hours of proper fight with Royal Zinger

Actually i think the difference can't even be described in human comparison as gun will pierce a soldier just as much as it would the kid
It's more like proper mudane human defeating something super human by planning stalking and creating a situation trapping his enemy

Yeah it's unlikely we will even see inala all that much both of his forms have clear path of progression which will be achieved in time
He has reached highest realm story will likely split in perspective of newer generation if a second book ever comes with mentions of inala here and there
As this book is pretty much ending soon
In future i can only read this for sumatra not for madman inala

As for celestial of sumatra's mother continent it has to be insane though it seems main factor or parameter of their strength is amount of time they can maintain state of unity

The progression path of Royal Zinger is already made and he only needs to walk through but story wise I believe we will see him much more then you think, what you think he just gonna let the mother continent do as she wishes? Do you think when the celestial from the mother continent gonna show up that Inala in all his glory not gonna be the one to answer for the call? Yeah we will see Inala less to see and build others up but this is still Inala's story: there is no "the seven" by the time the fights with the continent starts- only individuals and organisations fighting the other continent: and Inala is 2 individuals and 1 organisation. I like my odds.

I wouldn't be surprised if the reason the author made the second Inala because he wants to write about him, because the Royal Zinger right now is the secret weapon against the mother continent, so maybe the author wants to hide him also from the readers to pump him up because unlike the other characters Inala doesn't need to show his progress, unlike the other characters that we need to read the progress so we can accept they progressed

It's like a math test but because Inala has shown us again and again his creativity we don't need to see the way he gets the power, but for others I would find it cheap that they suddenly got a power up without us reading their progress.

This much was needed to defeat celestial boar i guess
Actually i don't fully believe she won't be able to break free of this death knell effect someday but how can you even go around explaining that to girl who was tortured as a newborn for straight 21 years
Even if she can't recover from this even as continent progresses which she should be considering gannala is harnessing grim knell capabilities it's not like she can't try to make new senses that are unrelated to human ones she just needs right knowledge and imagination maybe some trancedents have a way like some sort of spiritual sense or some extremely advanced prana detection means in such scenario experiencing what she has lost through mystic grades will only hold her back but who can explain this to her
It seems like empty promises I can't even imagine how much she wants just die
