Chapter 2917: Push Beyond

The challenge that Walker needed to push through was bonding an elemental plane temporarily to Remey.

This was easier said than done because she was not necessarily controlling space mana in ways that he would control spatial mana.

Especially since her spatial storage skills that she gained were not normal like his that could store basic items. She had only gained one that allowed her to store potions she had made and some herbs.

Her spatial aspects were more related to alchemy rather than anything else. She didn’t have one related to fighting because it just was not part of what her focus was.

Her fighting skills had already developed well enough and she didn’t experiment with them in terms of other mana like space in the ways that Walker did.

So, he had to somehow make these elemental apnea rest within Remey safely so that she could carry them.

But even more so, he had to handle the burst of fire mana that would come as he stropped the perfect movement of these three. It was another level of fire mana manipulation and spatial mana manipulation that he would need to grasp at the same time.

Su had already prepared several shields that she held in place using their ability to connect. She hadn’t shown the new shields that she had commissioned and that the wandering blacksmith had improved on.

When she had seen them, she thought that the small triangle looking cuts on the side made the shield seem too sharp. It wasn’t the same as the others with smoother lines so that they could only link up with their proper pair.

But these shields were made to link together in a wall almost.

She could enter a battlefield and begin placing a wall of shields all linked.

She only had twenty but that was more than enough. It would turn the tide when there was a constant flow of dangerous mana or the environment causing damage to everyone.

She could make a steady front line or place for people to rest and heal.

It was brilliant and gave her another battle tactic that others would be unable to replicate easily.

Walker ignored her actions though, any praise he had could be done later. Remey was the same, however, she had started to drink various potions.

The resistance potions, mental enhancement potions, and even a few potions related to enhancing the ferocity of a tamed monster were drunk up. It was worrisome since Su knew that these potions were not all intended for Remey to consume normally, but she had done so now because the side effects afterwards could be handled naturally by her body with time.

She was confident in this so she did not hold back. Su just had to accept that Remey might be weaker later by comparison.

"Hold on and be ready for the change." Su pulled Remey close and shielded herself and Walker as well.

Her body flared with fire mana as she directed it to shield herself and the armor set she had equipped. Having specialized armors and shields for this situation was perfect since she had always felt she needed to be prepared for more and more.

Each mana has its own ways of flowing and moving. For fire mana, it was consuming and violent.

It was open and warm. It was bright and potent.

Walker knew this as he disrupted the flow between the different colored fire manas. He knew that they each had different aspects because of the materials that had been consumed within the small elemental planes that made them up.

The almost crystalized centers reacted and broke causing small shards of fire mana crystals to shoot at them. Walker had barely begun to manipulate them and was now pulling on the space mana that had kept them fairly condensed because of their balance.

His input caused them to suddenly slam together instead of bleeding huge amounts of fire mana outward. It was his way of keeping them intact and not entirely sealing them right away.

But it also produced more danger for them being so close to the first outbursts.

As a wave of dense partially mixed fire mana hit the shield wall that Su had prepared, Su showed a slight flinch.

She wasn’t prepared to fight the different forms of fire mana that were only field by density and purity of fire mana. It was a more unique feeling that caused her more strain overall to her body rather than to her natural mana resistance.

Walker felt the pressure too but he doubled down and enhanced himself with his internal natural mana too.

The reaction was pressure that Remey and Su felt radiating off of Walker.

They had not realized that he had been growing stronger and stronger even though he was not completing major quests or traveling in to constant dangerous situations.

This growth was simply because of the manas and his understanding of everything in his body.

He would constantly grow because of the mana around naturally melding with his body as he existed. That was natural mana and the more important foundational manas like space and time.

As much as he didn’t realize that time mana was dwelling within him more and more, it could be sensed if he were to focus on it even more.

When the pressure increased even more, Su and Remey realized that he was locking down the entire area the same way that he would use a singular elemental aman to isolate someone trying to use it.

Walker had used that trick against powerful people and managed to escalate situations that would have come toward a fight. It was also a very powerful move that allowed him to control the manas even better and isolate another mana if he were to be trying to ensure that something he was doing was purer and denser.

Right this second, he used space mana to isolate how much the fire mana could move at all. Therefore, he had halted the next burst of manas while the centers of the small elemental planes properly mixed.

For Remey, she was highly sensitive with all the buffs and potions she had taken. It allowed her a better insight on the ways that the fire mana was mixing and how they were becoming one.

The denser and purer fire mana weakening while the weakest growing in quality caused the flames to shift through red, orange, and even yellow before taking on a deep purple color. .

This exposed the crystals that had been inside them the entire time and also caused there to be a clear example of what manas might have encountered these elemental planes while they formed out in the chaotic manas beyond what the three could see now.

Regardless, fire was the only mana here which was why they were ready to push through with their experiment here and try to see if they could manipulate an elemental plane enough to make it in to a dungeon.

When he raised his hands and pushed even harder, there was a snap as the three elemental planes fully smashed together and the extra space mana joined the sealing that Walker was using to hold them. It was a strange sensation to feel space mana itself condense, but Walker could tell his body understood it naturally.

It perfectly worked with the elemental plane sealing skill and also the transporting skill.

When he moved the fire elemental plane that was flickering between deep red and deep purple flames, Walker noticed that Remey had massively boosted herself to handle the strain.

Her muscles were strained and her mana had caused the flaming dragon aspects of wings, claws, and horns to appear on her body. They made her feel domineering compared to how she had looked previously.

But he had sensed her mana and her body very clearly, allowing him to bring strands of space mana and fire mana from the elemental plane toward her. He saw it like she was going to chain herself to it and carry it with her rather than he was forcing the plane within her body.

This mental image proved to be perfect, whether he had known it or not. If another origin race member had seen this, they would be amazed that someone as young as him grasped the effect that mental images like that had on the overall effect.

Besides this, Walker also saw that Remey was controlling her internal mana much more finely than usual causing his interaction to snap right in to line as if it was predetermined.

When Su began removing shields and protection, Remey started to show the strain on her face.

Yet, she seemed to be looking at the two as if she was prepared to go in to battle. Like the stress and pressure was encouraging her.

pushing her to take a step towards greater strength.
