Update - Chord of Darkness Release Information |
Hey folks, Carter here. I know some folks have been asking me and JM about where they can get their hands on the Chord of Darkness short that was available as part of the pre-order novella. We've been kind of tight-lipped about it until we got more information. Now that we have that, here's what we know.
The Chord of Darkness (along with the 3 other shorts we've had here on RR, as part of Tales From Rune Seeker) will be included as part of the Book 8 ebook only. We've gotten it slipped into the end of book 8, so if you read on kindle, you'll find it there.
Unfortunately, because of audiobook contracts, it probably won't be available in the audio format 😭. I'm sorry to anybody who is an audio listener and was looking for it there, but our audio publisher isn't the same as our print publisher. There are some different hoops / costs there, and the current stance is it won't get recorded. While there is always the chance that could change, I wouldn't hold my breath on it.
Either way, it's a great story, and I hope you enjoy reading it as much as we enjoyed writing it. As a reminder, I'll put the blurb for it below, and feel free to come to the discord to tell us what you think of it after you've had a chance to read it.
