No matter how many Korean novels I read, I still can't remember character names. If Han Soo Dong suddenly appears instead of Kang Han Soo, I'll think it's MC. Or Kim Jong Un. Or Kim Chi Soo. Their names are pure nonsense to me, completely forgettable. It's the same with Chinese names like Xiao Ziao Yao.

Only Japanese names are worth remembering. They're easy to read and pronounce, have beautiful meanings (which the author often even explains), and are cutely abbreviated.
