The end of civilisation as we know it came and went. Nothing much changed for humanity. Unless you are counting the mutated wildlife and humans with superpowers that is!

Warlords, nature and seemingly demonic beasts all stand between Jason Wright and his path to becoming the strongest in this post-apocalyptic world! Collapse

I think the Author is dead so the book and all his other projects have been dropped. It is a good book but you won't get the satisfaction you are after if you read it. You will only come away with an itch that can't be satisfied.

Wow! I have to say I love writing this story and seeing what everyone has to say about it. Thanks for your comments guys though please remember I get nothing from sites like this that have stolen my work. Despite being told to remove my novels and breaking copyright laws. Not to mention they created a fake cover for it.

But you readers are great and I don't blame you for it. If you enjoy the story and want to support it's continuation please consider reading it somewhere that's authorised so I can afford to keep writing.

It's heartbreaking to see sites make money from my and others hard work and we don't get a dime from it. Have a great day guys.

My respect for you is high tbh. You're one of the first authors I've seen not get angry at others pirating their work and even went as far as to understand that not all people can afford to pay. I have just payed for your Patreon on webnovel. I do hope you can bring out new chapters again so I'll be waiting until then.

    Review: The Legendary Junkmaster!

    Chapters in: 80

    Star Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Story Development: I'm shocked that a story of this quality was produced on a site like Webnovel. This feels like a product of Royal Road or some other higher quality novel writing site. The story development is great, with characters receiving development and not simply showing up one time like in some novels. There's also a history to everything that the reader doesn't know about but learns about over time, like how the apocalypse started or what kind of lifeforms and powers exist.

It feels like we're exploring the world with the main character and that's a special feeling that not many books can portray. Also, the pacing is almost perfect in my opinion. It's not too slow but not too fast. MC isn't becoming an immortal, dragon-slaying sex god by chapter 100 but does progress both in power and personality over time. He also learns how to use his ability gradually and it's interesting to see him rediscover "old world" technology and use it to augment tools made from old-world tech with new world materials.

Writing Quality: Quality is almost perfect. Grammar, tense, spelling and structure are clean and whilst there are some noticeable flaws, it's better than basically everything published by Qidan.

World Background/Building: The world is one of the most interesting parts of this story and I don't want to spoil anything so I won't go into detail. However, I need to say that I'm really happy that the story doesn't info-dump information about the world immediately. Instead, as mentioned in the first paragraph, it feels like we're slowly learning about the world through the MC's eyes as he discovers more about the "old world" technology, etc. We get subtle hints about how long ago the world fell, like in how rusted the buildings are, or how the vegetation has overcome the pathways and started to eat-up cities. It's a great version of showing not telling. Also, the powers are unique so far. There's thing ranging from physical mutations
    to his
Abilities also have some weaknesses depending.

    P.S - Thank God,
    wish

Character Design: Characters are fun reads.
is the best and has some witty one liners. All characters have distinct personalities, even the MC, who isn't perfect and is learning and growing over time. Take for instance that
Even side characters have their own personalities and aren't just cut and paste, which makes reading even more fun since even if the MC isn't around, there can still be fun conversations and you won't feel too bored.

I highly recommend giving this a try!
