It's ambitious but I wouldn't call it top notch. Author overdone with waxing philosophical and added too much bullshit to be honest.
It's enjoyable for a webnovel though. At least author tried and to some degree he succeeded.

        I can't really agree. Let's not forget it's Gong-ja's first love.
        Physically, she's appealing.
Mentally, she reminds him of his master who's still very alive in his memories.
And she knows how to seduce.
        How do you beat that?
He was intrigued right from the get-go. And at that perfume moment, she built the tension, intimacy (that our orphan boy didn't know), and so he felt excited.
Furthermore, as he was focused on learning love, it's not weird that's how he interpreted the excitement. She gave him an impulse.
And with her help, he was only falling deeper. (He extricated himself a bit tho. Good for him.)
And he's not acting badass? Well, yeah. It's love, not an Arnold Schwarzenegger movie. It's the first time he felt something this stimulating. It's only natural he's trying to relive the memory of it, to reignite and solidify that memory, to relive this stimulation. Because that's what a fresh love (or rather infatuation) does to people. It makes you hungry for more. He's full of anticipation, fondness and hormones and excitatory neurotransmitters in general.

Let the boy do his thing. (I'm by no means an expert tho. That's just an honest, educated guess.)

Nemo's comment from a few chapters back. Honestly I quite like it. I wouldnt say that it's too bad. Plus it's a breath of fresh air from stories in which the MC and the FL have tons of misunderstandings before realising their feeling for each other or stories where the FL falls in love after meeting the MC for the first time.
