    Damn… I’m sure that if the author had better implemented Zachary’s scenes where he talked to his grandmother on the phone, or had developed that sense of closeness more and deepened the relationships—not just with his grandmother, but with the other characters in general—I feel like this moment would have hit me so hard I might’ve even shed a tear. Unfortunately, this is one of the weak points of the story, something the author didn’t fully develop in a satisfying way, but even so, this particular moment has felt more emotionally intense than everything else sad or emotionally charged that has happened in previous chapters. By the way, the story is ending in less than 60 chapters 🥲
