    This started out kinda ok but it drugged down by the multiple pov's. In a single chapter it goes through 3-4 pov's and they tell the EXACT SAME thing but with a different character. It should have a tag for multiple pov to let someone know. I got through 10 chapters before my head hurt from reading this.

        There is a little bit of yaoi, but nothing sexual. Like the MC participates in a BL theater play once, and the MC has one male disciple which is attracted to him, but its only mentioned in passing like a sentence once in a while.

        There is lots of maleToFemale genderbending though.

        Edit: well im up to chapter 679, thats all of the main story, there might be some more yaoi in the after story chapters

    This has been fun so far, my biggest complaint is that the disciples are immediately god-like. This "suspension of disbelief" is fueled by the funny scenes, which means the less those jokes hit, the more you remember that most of this story is too convenient.

    I'm at chapter 200 and I'm hoping that the comedy keeps on hitting or the author don't stretch that suspension of disbelief too much that a lot of laughs are necessary just to keep the reader's attention.

    Update:
    While it's been fun, the "passivity" level of the MC is a bit too inconsistent, it's probably for the author to make happen whatever plot he cooked up, but honestly, it's a bit frustrating since it's a bit forced and keeps subverting expectations in a bad way. It's like using a pen that works, then doesn't, then works again, then doesn't.

    Still very readable tho.

        If it will make you feel better, then consider it as season 2 of the novel. No BL nasty thingy in the entire season 1 (main story) other than the jokes and the awful sense of art for the sisters and the idol crew.

        But season 2 (afterstory) is freaking suspicious and I am not going to take a risk by reading it without confirmation about what it includes exactly, so if any daredevil read until +900 then please, let me know.

        Honestly, that's rookie numbers. Pure Love X Insult Complex almost has 1000 chapters of side stories. Main story ends at chapter 589 and the most recent chapter is 1428. (BTW it's a story I recommend but is understandably not for everybody. A lot of f##ked up stuff happens in that novel. It actually has a really good story with also one of the most disgusting "villains" I've ever read, but the early chapters can be pretty "disgusting" to read without knowing what you are going into.)
