              He isn't constantly using mana to keep the buff on himself. The condtions set up are a one time cost for a set amount of time for the buff. If it were a constant cost, I'd agree with you, but this fundamentally can't be taken back as it is. You paid the buff mana cost in full to use it on someone else, they got the buff for the duration. You can't unpay the mana cost to take it back after, it is already working. It doesn't help that he didn't make the spell on his own, so he wouldn't understand the principles of it to mess with it further anyway.

                I haven’t read this book in a while. But you’re saying he “bought” the buff essentially? Even in such a case the buff would be provided by HIS system. I doubt his system is like a shop, we must be referring to a power here rather than a potion. So if he has access to the power of the system. Then to say he can’t debuff them is to say the system can’t debuff them either

                I wrote this comment a long time ago, and I’m not trying to sound arrogant but what you’re saying isn’t something complicated, it’s pretty obvious. So i doubt i would make a mistake that dumb.
                Therefore most likely what i meant by that comment was saying the buff is stupid if you can’t take it off. The quote “it’s a buff that disappears when it runs out” is such a dumb concept 😂😂😂. So one of these two options is the answer to ur comment

    honestly feel like author sometimes skip middle rank completely... skipped middle low rank demon to high rank demon, skipped middle rank soul and straight to high lvled souls.. skipped a middle rank word and straight to high ranked world (idk about the world since high ranked world could just be mc's interpretation) well it does have an overpowered tag so can't help it ig whoknows
