When he returned to the World of Martial Arts, the game was filled with blood and battles! Chen Kaixin had chased after the footsteps of the one emperor, two empresses, three princes, seven dukes, and thirteen aces for three years, but during the eve of the Sword Among Us tournament in Mount Hua, he was ambushed by evil bastards, and was killed so much that his level dropped to that of a newbie. He completely lost the chance to join the ranks of the powerful players in the game! In great disappointment, Kaixin quit the game and got drunk so that he could forget his sadness, but during that stormy night, Chen Kaixin found that he had actually dreamed for a total of three years, because when he woke up again, he woke up to three years ago, when he was still a student. This novel has many ups and downs but I won't be talking about that. Sword Among us is a 9.3/10 and has a slow start but throughout the whole thing you don't know the true reason he went back in time and that plot twist really just made me visibly freak out. The MC is a righteous man who has that Chinese mentality that men are better then women type vibe, MC isn't a idiot who doesn't take action when a women tries to come onto him, MC is cunning and will do just about anything to get stronger, and finally the world he lives in isn't just full of idiots who don't know how to fight back or talk, everyone in the story has some intelligence and will get stronger as the story progresses, and will fight back when necessary.

The Mc isn't just some omnipotent regressor, or some super OP god, he is just a dude who played the game and got to the top 8 of the world while fighting over and over, he was betrayed and doesn't just stop hating them over goodwill or something stupid like that, he is funny and will keep it the story interesting.

Recommend to new readers and to novel addicts, OVA great story, great world, great system, good translation (sometimes- later in story, mistranslation of some names appear), BEAUTIFUL character development, and finally pacing is fantastic not too fast and definitely not slow, but at a good pace to binge.

Alright I would say 600 chapters in is good enough, it's not perfect and sometimes some ability names get renamed and I got confused but it's like 1 in 200 times it happens. BUT on a real note this is a fantastic read and the only downside for me really is the very slight moments when sexism is shown SLIGHT= NOT OFTEN but def would recommend to newer readers and people addicted to Cultivation

      OVA 9.4/10

Edit- Read to chapter 20-50, if you still aren't interested drop it
still would recommend to cultivation addicts, has good translation and not confusing other than the first 3 chapters from the names, you don't have to remember any of them except main character and main female leads.

1200 chapters in and I can confidently say that this is still a great novel, would like to warn anyone who reads this that this novel doesn't solely focus on the main character (sounds bad, sounds like you spend 50 chapters building up a NPC. ITS NOT) the novel when in a long story mode where the story has been going on for close to 50-80 chapters, the POV you get goes to another person, like the enemy or a NPC for like 1.5 or 3 chapters its not that bad but I swear on everything it is cancer and made me want to quit so many times bc I want the author to just focus on the battle at hand not the feeling of 'Dream Clouds' who is in another damn nation. would recommend that you just read it and push though a little background/ world building at start bc its a great novel
