    Forests are his enemy his home too. If both sides have the same advantage then it is no longer an advantage. Not to mention that he is unfamiliar with this particular forest. His enemy would know exactly where the strong beasts are located and which routes are best to take to escape or lure someone into a trap.

    Or even worse, his enemy might know where a shaman powerhouse lives and head there. The only advantage that Su Ming has is that his enemy will underestimate him when they meet.

      His enemy is hurt (I think so) is fleeing, doesn't know the true strength of su ming, while su Ming knows how to navigate a forest perfectly he's been doing that since he was a mortal
