    If one of them fell from a high bookshelf and hit someone, the skull of that person passing by would be broken. That’s why there was a warning to not make a disturbance in the library

      Well, fantasy world that probably only uses preservation magic to maintain the books
      That would be costly I would assume
      So just make the books sturdier to begin with is an easy solution

      Well in the old days before there was paperback books or ebooks. They were made with three wood pieces bound together with thick leather, glue, and metal corner pieces. You should watch some YouTube videos that shows the entire old school book making processing. I found it interesting.
