Read 770 chapters, was good, but the time skips are horribly placed lots of buildup only to be shot down and denied my expectations for a good start to the demon war, pointless battles about stupidity considering he's struggling so hard to save lives when he's got a whole army in the north to call upon who are just sucking there thumbs the whole time it's just not that great and mostly irritating lots of filler with woman who will just leave on a dime never to be heard from again so what's the point, useless filler ranges between a lot of things and a lot doesn't even make sense compared to the world building I always found myself scratching my head all the time because most of it doesn't even matter to the mc or story I'd rate it 2/5 and that being generous

Finally finished it's a great novel!

I can say the first impression i had is this novel has some unique features.
Oveall it's good but i drooped it around 525.
The beginning was interesting and attractive.
He was porterating the misry of a teenager in a hilarious way.
The arc of exam/wild wolves was the best one i read.
It lay a solid foundation for the story as a whole. The character, the plot, the personality of the main character ..
It was so good and the reason i dropped it is related to this, because the author destroyed most of this foundation when i dropped in a stupid and forced way.
In my opinion he did it out of frustration and incompetence to write another arc that good and it kept haunting him so the catastrophe happened and he crippled the whole story.

I really liked the concept at the start.
But then looks like author had way too many opinions that he just had to insert into story.
Totally ruined it.

I know these things are expected of a Chinese novel(especially the low iq) but the amount of shit here is staggering.
And combine this with a piece of shit Mc and you get this dumpster fire.

The concept of the story is pretty cool.
Since the sex scenes is not explicit i don't really care about it, i just skim it and move on.
When i read the story few years ago there wasn't anything that bothered me that much about it except one hiccup in the Spoiler.

Utter rubbish. Could have been a good time passer but the author completely ruins the plot with the overtly sexualised and perverted jokes. Its disgusting.

Generally many of the chinese web novels regardless of how shitty the plot is, would have at least decent world building. This novel is one of the first that i have read with really bad world building. There is a lot of "chinese" god complex which is interwoven into the world building. About how the chinese are supreme and how they are unique and not from this world or that only their research is correct and everyone else is wrong. The author is delusional.

The mc is basically a horny 15 year old with a single digit IQ. He has a cheat that has immense potential if used properly. But what does he do? He uses it to secretly masturbate. Thats how bad the novel is.
