    One thing I really like about this novel is that the MC has one central technique that he builds his arsenal upon. Myriad Self was made during the end of the 88-True Yang Building arc and is still useful now.

      Thats literally every shonen protagonist who uses only 1 or 2 moves throughout the whole series, take a look for an example like Luffy who uses gomu gomu no and also Naruto who used only 2 techniques like rasengan and shadow clones, he also managed to create many versions and variations to make the technique stronger

          Ah yeah, I get that! I guess it’s just the execution that makes it satisfying here — Myriad Self sticking with him through everything does feel more integral to his journey than some shonen moves that are just flashy variations.
