    Song attacks sounds weak, lame, poetic & flowery. It'd interesting if it was a physical attack but people turning into jade, heaven and earth into a song seems too convenient. Do your words form swords or better yet just yell DIE. Are you immune if you make yourself deaf? I'm actually kind of surprised there aren't more disabled people (and deaf/blind fighting masters) even if you can regrow limbs it is beyond the reach of many mortals.

      Most likely the crippled people fail and never become important gu masters or they healed themselves using a certain gu. I recall hearing that Feng jiue ge could make the sound be heard in the minds of his enemies. So, even if they become deaf it's still gonna work on them. What will happen is that they would be crippled and wouldn't be able to help each other as effectively without special gu that can transmit messages at lightning fast speed.

      Song attacks sounds weak, lame, poetic & flowery. It'd interesting if it was a physical attack but people turning into jade, heaven and earth into a song seems too convenient.ย 

      So is a fixed immortal travel gu, wisdom gu, and like 50% of all killer moves. If it were all balanced than it wouldn't be realistic.

      Uhh, the sound waves don't magically dissappear because your deaf. And if the ability works on more than just your ears, than that simply proves my point.

      I'm actually kind of surprised there aren't more disabled people (and deaf/blind fighting masters) even if you can regrow limbs it is beyond the reach of many mortals.

      Most people who lose a limb during battle die, because a mortal won't have the same pain resistance FY has. Those who survive are used as cannon fodder, as explained in the beggining of the novel.

        I said nothing about being balanced, I just don't like this style of status effect attacks compared to every other cultivator. Also those are legendary Gu that shouldn't be compared to the relatively normal ones.

        Second part was questioning how such a 'convenient' skill worked which I alluded to either being an ear-to-mind sound attack or direct-mind attack via sound wave. As it could rely on the brain processing that sound to affect the host. So you just proved my point while saying I'm wrong.

        Third it's called wanting immersion/realism in a fantasy, with so much world detail in a world of fighting but so few cripples glosses over regular day people or masters not so fortunate or maybe fortunate (ex. secret sect that forces people to become eunuchs or intentionally has blinds, mutes, deafs, etc as part of their legacy). But simply pushing it as "pain resistance" means nothing when compared to the health issues gone-wrong cause of deaths not to mention loss of performance leading to more deaths rather than feeling pain. You would have made more sense just saying they all died but that is just too convenient, doubtful and an unlikely probability.
