    Just realized, the more one rewinds using Spring Autumn Cicada the unluckier one becomes causing one to rewind even more.


    My rambling thoughts. Since Spring Autumn Cicada isn't guaranteed to succeed does using Time Anchor Gu mean it is guaranteed or is it not a beacon/waypoint but just a crude time stamp marker? (like a map just knowing where/what time to go I would assume greatly increases success immensely) And what happens when you rewind before you're born instant death? Fairy Mo Yao wanted to take over Fang Yuan's body to go back 10,000+ years.

      Time Anchor Gu just marks a point of time. Even if it was combined with Spring Autumn Cicada in an immortal killer move, it would not increase the success rate (Unless the anchor was placed before the time where SAC would normally end up.)

      The distance one can travel using Spring Autumn Cicada is still the self explosion of your cultivation (if it's not boosted using an immortal killer move or other methods). In this case, using Time Anchor Gu with SAC can instead decrease your chances of being reborn, if the anchor is placed beyond the maximum time SAC can send you back.

      SAC's function is to send your consciousness/will back in time to your body, so FY cannot travel before he was born just using SAC.
