    The market is not developed? What is it missing? There are production monopolies, large/medium/small businesses, start ups, bankruptcy, auctions, gangs, territory, schemes, collusions, pacts, treaties, pledges, mass distribution with yellow treasure heaven, monopolies with one-of-a-kind immortal Gu and of course currency and trading.

      A lot of the economy for RI is based around trade. The currency can change to battle merits during tough situations and you can't buy many rare goods, unlike earth, where everything can be bought using money. (in most places)
      RI has no hard currency.

      Traditional economies are usually categorized based on whether or not the nation uses trade and bartering.
      One good encounter can also give someone a monopoly over rare goods; it's much less stabilized than on earth.

      I agree that there are points that could be considered developed though. (Ex: Treasure Yellow Heaven) But I don't think it can really be considered modernized either, due to the points above.

      To explain that you would need some economics lectures. But to be short:
      It is not a kapitalistic market but a feudal one.
      So it has the economic development of the model ages. With the difference that there are fewer people that are more spread out.
